Beyblade Metal Fight from an Astrological perspective: The Zodiac signs! Part 13: Gingka Hagane's Zodiac Sign!!!
Hello everyone, I am Star-Arcana and a fellow Metal Fight fan and lover of the Stars and Astrology and come with perhaps my final part of this stellar analysis! But some little history first: Yesterday was Beyblade Day and before was the beginning of the Astrological new year! With all of this in mind, I want to make perhaps the most important part of this analysis series, where I compare the characters with the zodaic signs they are associated with in the show: All the parts will be linked here below for you to see, if you wanna read them: Part 0 (intro) Part 1 Aries Part 2 Taurus (Bull) Part 3 Gemini (Gemnios) Part 4 Cancer (Gasher) Part 5 Leo(ne) Part 6 Virgo Part 7 Libra Part 8 Scorpio (Escorpio) Part 9 Saggitarius (Saggitario) Part 10 Capricorn(e) Part 11 Aquarius (Aquario) Part 12 Pisces NOTE: I am not an expert Astrologist, and if they are here and want to correct me, they are free to do so...I am open to criticism unless unconstructive and unfair!
I will be starting from Aries and move over to Pisces at last. I will be ranking their compatability with Gingka within a scala of 1-10 Stars, where one is the least compatable and 10 the most compatable with Gingka! Note that there is no character as far as I know in any media who perfectly fits a zodiac sign's personality 100%, so it's not the job of this analysis to do that and just see which energy fits Gingka better! So with all of that done, let's go further, and see, what sign fits Gingka the best and I think the answer is most obvious once we are done!
Gingka and Aries
Starting with Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac Wheel, a lot of it fits; Gingka is very courageous, takes risks, is action-driven and energetic, and with an ardent personality that loves competition. He would have not been the blader he is, if he isn't the courageous, brave hero who enjoys risks that he is. He loves facing danger and proving his strenght against his foes, and does it spledidly. Gingka is also the one who often gets to call the shots and started to really built the Beyblade world that we see evolve; into a place where people forge bonds via battling. He took the lead and did it well. But we have to take into consideration that this is a battle-shonen and Aries attributes also fit with other characters and other series to a similiar degree, and does not fully or accurately describe all there is to Gingka. For one, Gingka isn't as temperamental or impulsive as Aries wants it, nor is he really that stubborn. Gingka is often a rather calm and reserved individuall who often thinks before he acts, as we see him during battle often remaining collected even when in danger, and has mostly his temperament under control, aside from few times where they get the best of him like his first battle with Ryuga. Gingka is also not really stubborn, even if he sometimes gets into arguments, like with Masamune at the start of Masters. Gingka is usually too understanding to do this, seeing often Madoka's points and even if he disagrees, he does it respectfully. Gingka also takes advice from others very often, like getting help from his friends when first charging into the Dark Nebuka base or taking Ryuga's criticism despite being ambivalent towards him. Also when Gingka leads others, he does take their opinions, their views and their talents at heart and allows them to come up with plans without taking too much charge. Heck, Gingka allowed them more often than not to shine without being bossy. He made too many concessions and compromises for this part to be true Another thing is that Aries can be too belligirent and competitve, to the point where they refuse to give up. Yes, Gingka doesn't surrender easily, but he loves a healthy competition and had to often stop the more aggressive competitors from ruining the sport, like Kyoya. He can concede defeat and learn from it, not losing himself in a temper tantrum (mostly), and shows often rather joy than aggression. To him Beyblade is about having fun, not winning all the time, that was more Julian's flaw, and Gingka is a fair sport's player, not a jock. Despite Gingka often times trusting and open, he can be at times admittedly naive, but not more than other characters who are just as smart, if not smarter, and despite massive perplexion, he came often on top with cunning plans and adaptiation. Gingka is adaptive, what can I say? And while Gingka is quick, risk-taking and very spontanous during battles, he often does do thinking and doesn't always immiediately charge into action, as we see him often think things through before just taking challenges, like how often had to stop Masamune to impulsively charge into things without thinking. Gingka isn't impatient and can take the long road without being too impeteous. And while I am mentioning Masamumu here, I say he fits Aries better.
Finally, Aries does often things solo, Gingka is against working all alone, as his power comes from others and fights with and for them in battle, that is the whole theme of his character: Uniting all and everyone's spirit and battling in union, which is how Gingka won against insourmountable odds, like Kyoya, Pheonix, L-Drago,the Beyblade World Championship, Faust, the Spiral Force, and Nemesis. Gingka won against them because of his friends and family, not because he does everything Solo! This definitively doesn't fit with him, and prevents me from ending it here, and also from giving it any more points for Gingka being Aries. In conclusion: While Aries fits with some of Gingka's traits, due to the shonen genre following archetypes, it does not all the deeper aspects of Gingka's character and biggest sources of strenght. Despte being fierce, loving battle and being brave, Gingka is too calm and in fact way too understanding of others to be locking horns and way too kind to fit with Aries's worst qualities. At best, Aries's best traits while somewhat fitting, are reductive and cannot fully describe Gingka. So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 7/10
Gingka and Taurus
Taurus fits in some ways more than Aries and in many ways even less, so let's get over it!
While Gingka is rather patient and takes often the slow and careful route when getting stronger, he isn't super slow nor does he refuse to accept change, as he often moves with speed in battle and often changes tactics and ideas on a fly when needed. He follows not really rigid patterns and leaves comfort zones more than once, as he accepted risky challenges like with Pheonix, in which where he would lose to him, Gingka would decide to quit Beyblading. Or another instance was him trying to get Galaxy Pegasis in spite of the danger and could have chosen a simpler life as Blader with a diffrent bey. But he likes the challenge and refuses to give up and doesn't take easy routes.
Gingka is also unlike Taurus not really materialistic, in fact he considers friends more importan than money (something that bothered people when he offered friendship to Chris, instead of money), nor is he really selfish or possessive, and rarely showed any of such traits. In fact, Gingka fought against the most covetous and greedy people of his time, like Ziggurat and Julian, who wanted money and power. I covered stubborness already as unfitting, so I wanna not do that.
Taurus as sign is known for being self-indulgent and enjoys earthly pleasures. Sensory pleasures such as food, music, arts e.t.c all are things Taurus loves, which Gingka doesn't fit, even if he loves good food, but that is too small of a bonus to count. Gingka is also someone who prefers the immaterial joys of life more, like Beyblade's Spirit of battle and friendship, none of the material and physical stuff.
Gingka is also, unlike the Taurus sign not someone who values stability over change. In fact, he was the bringer of change, and often was for a free and happy Beyblade world. While he wants it to be save and stable, never did he do it at the cost of freedom and allowed change, hence Pegasis changes all the time in the show, as well as the Beyblade World.
There are however things that fit with him: Gingka isn't fast to anger, he is often calm, as I made it clear, and placid too, but when Gingka gets angry, he really does get angry, but only when you really push him, as seen with Fusion most prominently, in his war against Ryuga and the Dark Nebula. This does fit with Taurus, as they are patient, but when pushed too much, they can have intense anger. So I count this. Another things that do fit with Gingka are endruance and persistence. Despite all the challenges and battles that came, Gingka always endured a lot of hits and survived due to his tenacity and persistence to never give up, which allows him come out at the top whereas others would have fallen, and it even surpasses the endurance and persistance of Kyoya and Kenta, despite them being Defensive and Stamina-Type Bladers. Once Gingka sets out for something, he sticks to it until the bitter end and created a legacy of lasting value even today, but he can adapt to change, unlike a pure Taurus.
In conclusion: Most of these traits do not fit, but those that do, have done so in a great quality...it's just Gingka isn't a pleasure hound(that is Doji), nor is a materialist and can accept changes. The endurance and persistence fits, but doesn't do it too slowly and can be proactive.
So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐☆ 3.5/10
Gingka and Gemini
At first I thought it barely fits, but I was actually mistaken and can see now why it does fit more than I expected, and why it has a strong position, but first with the things that made me initially doubtful:
Gemini often is said to have a dualistic personality, hence they can be at worst meallable and play with others around them, while also being massively at surface-level with many things without going deeper, which Gingka is nothing alike. He is not someone not two-faced he is someone with an open personality and honest(mostly), and even when being once rather secretive, wasn't really the duplicious two-faced guy just playing others. Gingka is not a manipulative villian (that is, again, Doji). Gingka isn't superifical in his endeavours, he goes into issues really deep, like how and why he has to win.
Gingka isn't as a character necessarily in conflict with a dark shadow. As Gemini is a sign that deals with duality within humans as a theme, this partially fits Gingka only: Gingka has a clear personality, and despite some darker sides, he never had to go through a strong process of integrating the darker sides of himself the way Tsubasa had to do, when under the dark power's control. In that sense, it really doesn't fit. Gingka however did deal with darker sides of himself via his friends helping to snap himself out of his guilt and rage, and despite having not the light vs shadow spiel traditionally with himself, Gingka does help people deal with their darker sides and made them accept it and achieve peace with themselves, like with Kyoya, Hikaru, Yu, Chris and Ryuga. All this also helped Gingka accept it within himself, which in a way fits, but isn't as clear and traditional as the sign shows it, so it fits mildly with caveats.
Now we begin to enter things that do fit more!
Gingka is adaptive, is not stuck at one place(he travels all the time since his adventures started) and someone who is rather light, playful to a degree and open-minded, and not opposed to change. Versatile and diverse ways of Beyblading and thinking Gingka does like and love to see. But he is not erratic in this area or meallable, and can be focused on one special tasks; Beyblading as offensive type. With Fury giving him modes, he does ultimately use diffrent tactics than before, but can not get bored from one tasks like how Gemini ususally is, and Gingka loves his favourite sport or hobby too much to let it god, and doesn't get bored...unless he is stuck with something like having no Bey, but that, I think, doesn't count. So Gingka comes with a varied approach of things and also youthful curiosity, since he loves to learn more about new Beys and bladers...and while we are at it! Gingka is fittingly someone who learns a lot and is rather curious, not with the educational material (if Yu is trusted, Gingka's grades are bad, though he knows how tornadoes operate and went to space), but meeting new people via Beyblade, and he learn from everyone around him a lot, which is why he grew so much in power like using the Beylin Fist Temple Stlye combat or learning curiously from Madoka new things about Beys when she does analysing, listening to Yuki often and not judging Kenta for trying to recruit Ryuga.
The sign of Gemini is often called the Social Butterfly, due to being socially competent and quite gifted at conversations. Gemini is credited for being very witty, charming and humourful and loves communication and connection. A lot of this fits with Gingka. He is really got at getting through people and forms because of this, the biggest, most wide and diverse social circle in the whole saga. Gingka, the one guy who united the whole world against Nemesis and before that against L-Drago and forming alliances with many former enemies becoming friends, being socially incompetent? No, Gingka is really great at connecting with others, with his most preffered method of communication being Beyblade, of course, but he does use speeches to really get through people and often helps them to learn. Like with Kenta as best example, like teaching him the meaning of Beyblade. Though he can be charming, witty and humorful and gets a lot of attention, he is not just some guy who talks, he does the walk. Despite being once a loner, he wants and loves having social interactions with others, and speaks with them joyfully and often. A Social Butterfluy indeed.
In Conclusion: Gingka fits not with eveything here but a lot more than the Taurus, and dare I say, it does match here around the same level as Aries, if not slighly higher. It takes it even further and shows, even if not entirely obvious, shows alot of hits here that don't really miss, and can be quite flexible, like the sign. The Social butterfly stuff fits so strongly alongside the curiousity and love to see new things, overshadows already the first two signs here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 7.5/10
Gingka and Cancer
This actually is a stronger fit than the previous ones, because Gingka is an emotional person, and Cancer, like all Water Signs, has a strong emotional character:
Gingka really cares deeply about his friends and family, and would do anything to protect them and takes the role as the one who protects the group, with his life being focused also on the larger family that is bladers throughout the world. Cancer is really about family and given Gingka's love for his father, home and found family, Gingka does perfectly fit it. Though it might be a bit too much for more traditional and closed-off Cancer, as that sign can be really reclusive and biased for their own tribes, partisan even, which Gingka is not really, at least the partisan part.
Cancer as sign needs a place and group to feel home, and initially Gingka was after his first defeat withdrawn to his old home to regain his strenght, but afterwards did it never withdrawn that much ever again. Gingka is also not nearly as sensitive(at least when it comes to being hurt) as Cancer, due to being able to hanlde stressful situations without lashing out too much or becoming emotionally manipulative (that is more Tetsuya's thing), and risks, Gingka loves to take them, albeit with caution. However he can be hurt by them, but isn't going to retreat so easily into a shell, that is what I mean.
Back to more fitting stuff, Gingka truly is a caring and empathetic person, that is even his biggest strenght and what allowed him to become the strongest Blader. His emotional intelligence, his intuition that makes him atuned to his atmosphere and feelings of others, allowed him to even gain the strenght of enemies and allies in the first place. Gingka helped people deal with traumatic stuff by showing compassion and understanding, hence many friends of Gingka started out as either rivals or enemies and were changed because of his influence. He is deeply emotional, at times letting them take over reason at imes, and his streght wanes and waxes depending on how he feels, as Bey's power comes from their Blader's feelings. Kinda like the tides is Gingka here. All of those things are align with the Cancer sign, and there is even more!!!
Gingka cherishes close bonds, and had problems of letting go of Storm Pegasis after it was gone and only after approximately a year, did he gain a new Bey, Galaxy Pegasis, and got only after some time along with it. His close bonds that he holds dear is one of his best traits and the reason why his fans and friends love him, he really cares for them. That is also why he got so much power from his friends, as the emotions he places for them are deep and so are his friends feelings for him...which is how he became powerful enough to even defeat the forbidden Bey Lightning L-Drago and many other threats in the World Championship and even Nemesis. Also, Gingka's power often depends on his emotional state, so he can only win, when he feels his best, not his worst.
Finally, Cancer is said to, when they want to reach a goal, they can be tenatious, assertive and never give up, but do so in indirect ways. All but the last part fits with Gingka, when he really wants something and fight for something that really matters to him and others...he cannot lose, even when against the darkest and most powerful bladers. He is however not someone using indirect means...that is more Tetsuya's approach. Gingka does it more directly, he uses his shell as a weapon to defeat his foes and protect friends, rivals and allies.
In Conclusion: A Super strong fit that gets his character just about right and IMO, shows not just his strongest character traits, but also so far the most fitting ones...but he isn't as vulnerable and reclusive as that sign, even if he did that initially in the beginning, and Gingka is direct in his assertiveness, not indirect. However, it still mostly fits, Gingka has big emotions and a big heart that is empathetic, kind and compassionate, like Cancer.
So i give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 9.5/10
Gingka and Leo:
Another good fit for obvious reasons: Leo is a rather charismatic sign that motivates others, while also being warm and generous, and comes with a lot of dignity and self-confidence. All which describes Gingka well and is part of what makes him the best blader, as he motivated a lot of them to be better versions of themselves than before.
Gingka's character is that of an optmisitc with a great hope for the future, and always looked at reaching that, but unlike with the sign of Leo, Gingka was never really possessed by a sense of grandeur and needing to feel special or , as he was always humble, except for the time where he let the legendary blader status get into his head. But usually, he is really grounded and realized that quickly, and isn't some narcissitic glory hound(that is more like Ryuga). Humility and Honor are important to Gingka and isn't someone who needs excessive attention and admiration by others. Nor is he lacking in integrity and and was honest with others. While Gingka is someone who knows how to put a good show, he doesn't make that his personality, unlike Leo. He is professional and won't let a sense of grandeur ruin him so easily. so Gingka isn't exactly like Leo here.
More being like Leo is that Gingka has a rather bold and courageous personality that is mostly self-possessed and daring. He is really reliable and can survive by himself (unless against the biggest threats), and has a rather spirited love for Beyblade that shines as bright as the starry sky, which aligns with Leo.
As you noticed, Gingka and Leo have somewhat diffrent perception of themselves. Gingka is humble, and on top of it selfless, but Leo has somewhat of an issue with this, and as a sign, is really selfish. Leo got a big ego and is self-centered, arrogant even to the point where they suffer easily hurt pride. Leo as sign can be easily obsessed with status, larger than life fantasies, accomplishments, having (or not having) authority and with superficiality too. Hence, Leo can delegate the dirty work to others, which is anethema to Gingka's altrusim.
Another important thing is that Gingka can be independant, but knows that he has limitations on how much power he alone can have, hence he stated to Kyoya that you can never be truly stronger alone. Leo as a sign can be hyper Individualist and despite being a sign that can be the born leader when generous and motivating, but it's ego can neuter this. Finally, creativity and have a great sense of fun and humor is associated with Leo, they connect to the innocent and uncomplicated world of children. Most of it fits, but Gingka isn't someone who plays value creativty , as Jack mocked him for being too refined as person. But Gingka makes it up for his love of Beyblade due to being fun and loves teasing at times...he really is funny as a person, especially with his antics.
In Conclusion: Gingka has the heart and warmth similiar to a Leo, is motivating, confident, spirited and hopeful, but lacks it's ego and isn't crazy about having the spotlight or not. Gingka is someone who attracts the spotlight, but doesn't crave it. Gingka is humble, dignified and warm, but not arrogant or selfish. It does it better than Aries, but that is due to Leo having more positives synergize with Gingka. With Gemini, Leo does fit better with Gingka, due to his positive qualities being more highlightened here, and Gemini is a bit too much on the logical side of things, so Leo gets somewhat a better score. So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 8/10
Gingka and Virgo:
In contrast to the last entry, Gingka fits less with this sign than the last, and it's obvious as to why:
Gingka isn't someone who cares that much about order or even about perfection, for which Virgo is most well known for. Gingka prefers going with his gut, rather than needing everything super detailed and calculated. The calculated, detail-obsessed personality of Virgo clashes with Gingka's more free and spontaneous personality, and is cleary something that doesn't work with him at all. Despite being capable of analysing his foes really well, he isn't that robotic. He is not someone where a small detail rattles him and turns him into a control freak, that is more of a Virgo weakness that Gingka lacks. Gingka cares more about the heart, not the details, they aren't that important.
But Gingka is really humble and wants to serve others, fitting more with Virgo's personality and actually is compatable with this sign in that regard. And as far as skill is considered, Gingka is most definitively number 1, and must have done a lot right to get there, and while it speaks for his skills, they were more based on the emotional strenght of his character rather than simple practical mastery of ability. Yes he did needed to put hard work and analyse hard the reality to master Storm Bringer, but for most of the time, it's the emotional character that gives him what he need. Gingka's personality personality is a bit too spirited to fit it with Virgo's more hard-sciency approach on top of his humility not being soo big that he downplays his talents at all. He is proud of them, more than one thinks.
Gingka has talent for practical strenght, and while his body and mind are strong, it's again, his heart that shines brightest. He does not do it within an ordered system and learns from chaos of battle, as we see it often. He is too vivid to really be someone hyper analytical. It fits more with Madoka and Yuki as characters, the latter I see more as traditionally Virgo.
Virgo does have however finally the ability to create useful stuff out of their skill and use it for his team and the good of the world, which fits Gingka's abilities, but again, the approach is rather diffrent.
In Conclusion: Aside from sharing humility and a desire to act services, Gingka is not someone hyper analytical and orderly and prefers some dirt over most of this stuff...it's not a total mismatch, but it's lacking. I, however, will be generous with my rating.
So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/10
Gingka and Libra:
Now we move to a more fitting sign for Gingka, and it represents one thing he has been fighting for: Peace and harmony!
Libra as sign is just, fair and treats people equally, this undoubedly fits with Gingka, as he hates injustices and fights against this, and punishes anyone who plays with dirty tactics or oversteps the boundaries of others. Gingka often fought in the name of justice and his ideals of Beyblade to defeat his foes and won't tolerate others stepping over the innocent. To, Gingka beyblade is connection and friendship, not annihilation and destruction. With this, Gingka is concerned with ideas of justice, being considerate towards others and contribute to a harmonous Beyblade enviroment by treating his foes fairly and by the rules. Gingka taught that value to others and helped them to become fair and just bladers too. like Yu, Benkei and even Kyoya to mention a few. Gingka has due to this won over many people like the aforementioned people, but on top of this, prevented the Dark Nebula to spread it's twisted version of Beyblade and with his friends and the WBBA, made a better world for everyone.
And Gingka did that also rather gracefully and style, even without trying to be or obsessing over it...it tracks kinda with Libra loving grace and style. Also he tends to be rather balanced from his temperament here, and isn't given into stress that much. He can remain diplomatic, even when faced with issues. He really is a kind person that achieved harmony and peace with himself, as the best blader in the world.
Agan fitting with Libra is that Gingka is someone who needs friends to get really strong, as being lonely and isolated never helped him grow into the blader that he became without his friends. His relationships are a major defining block of his personality and has even made compromises in the name of peace, even working well with people who can be difficult, like Masamune and Kyoya. But more precise, the desire for a parnter was the strongest with Pegasis, his loyal companion that he trusts the most and protects and fight with it. Even when things get difficult, it was due to their relationship, their bond that they could form with each other, and extending that to other bladers and beys, that helped them defeat the darkest and most dangerous foes and threats to the Beyblade World!
The less fitting aspects are a love for beauty and appearence, which Gingka historically never cared for, and he isn't focused on the arts either. Gingka is also, despite the one time period where he wasn't honest with others, not really insincere and doesn't want to make things look more good than they are, but Gingka often made things better for everyone, hence he is the hero whom everything centers about.
Gingka like this fair sign, can see all sides, but lacks indecision and is more assertive. He knows which sides to pick and stick with it and known when to rock the boat, and can still win people over.
In conclusion: A very fitting sign for Gingka, despite lacking many of it's flaws and being overall not into the superficial stuff. But the major cores of justice, fairness and equality, are suitable for Gingka and I say, we needed such a good fit after the last one. And I say, even better than the other air sign here I already covered, as it deals more with his ideals than Gemini, so Libra gets a good rating. So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
8.5/10
Gingka and Scorpio:
As I talked earlier, Water signs really do fit with Gingka, and Scorpio is no exception. Likewise Gingka, Scorpio is passionate and really feels intensely and usually has it under control with a cool exterior that can be stoic, This also fits with Gingka, though he has also a happy exterior and expression, but it is compatable, stoicism isn't against happy demeanor in life. So yeah, it fits already, but gets better!
Scorpio is known for it's transformative and regenerative powers and the ability to built resillience over time, jumping over the fire and coming out better than before. This is pretty much Gingka's journey, as he faced often difficult situations and came out stronger in the end. Even when he lost to Ryuga and others, he was always able to reinvent himself and be reborn stronger, first by learning how to accept such a losses and then learning to gain better determination. Every single defeat strenghtened Gingka and allowed him to come out on top way stronger. Even his Bey's history is proof, with Storm Pegasis having exhausted itself and vanished, only to be reborn into a new Bey and evolved then itself again. Gingka and Pegasis, like Scorpio, can survive the most challenging of circumstances and become better, though not as withdrawn.
Scorpio's emotioanl honestly and intuition gives it the ability to peer into the heart of an issue. This is the to-go tactic of Gingka, when analysing his foes and allies. He understands their sentiment and derives power from that understanding. As Scorpio loves to uncover mysteries, so does Gingka by learning from, and more about his foes, thus getting then the upper hand. He did this with Kyoya and Chris; He saw that they was just hurt and lonely, and aplied his power to rescue them. With Benkei, he saw someone who values effort and respected that, eventually converting him. With Yu, he had to show him how fun Beyblade is, which made him realize that the Dark Nebula is not the future for him. And with Ryuga, he saw someone who is part of the Beyblade world, and needs to be rescued to end the cycle of violence and destruction L-Drago nurtured. And with Damian, he saw the victim beneath the monster, and realized, he couldn't lose, and would rather die than accept defeat against forces that created Damian, like Hades Inc, Doji (even saying to him he would rather die than seeing that monster succeed) and the followers of Hades. Gingka really is like the sign Scorpio, a formidable foe. Scorpio likes to go into the deep and can see the depths of the ocean of humanity, and Gingka faced it multiple times in his journey.
Gingka's expression isn't super detached, but he has a rather cool exterior in which he can express his powerful emotions controlled and without much fear, if ever. Though not as cool as Scorpio (like being super cold) as a sign can show, Gingka is usually really cool. Fortunately Gingka lacks Scorpio's possesiveness, and while unwavering loyal, he isn't intensely jealous.
There are two weakness that Gingka had that fits with Scorpio, but he overcame them in fusion: It was his hatred towards Ryuga for having seemingly killed his father, which the Dragon Emperor used to goad him into giving negative energy to revive L-Drago, which resulted in Gingka's first loss after he left home. This fits with Scorpio as it's biggest weakness is it's ability to hold grudges and rarely, if ever forgives and forgets being hurt, which was with Ryuga for a long time. It was even used twiceagainst Gingka by Ruyga, where he taunted Gingka in their first match with the defeat and death of the latter's father(hes survived, but no one knew) Then in the finale of Battle Bladers, Ryuga tauned Gingka with all of the fallen friends at the hands of the Dragon Emperor. Gingka in both instances gave into hatred. The first time was a succeed, the secound time it that thwarted by Gingka's friends. They also helped then Gingka realize, upon seeing L-Drago corrupt Ryuga, that to stop the dark power, Gingka has to save Ryuga, and he succeded. Another weakness of Scorpio that Gingka also had, was his secretiveness and not wanting to show how he truly felt when the Trauma with L-Drago came back with Doji's reveal after the intense battle with Kyoya. Gingka only opened his heart bit for bit and then fully until after the first attempt to get back L-Drago failed and after Kenta confronted him about it. Even then, he hid his pain to go back home to find a way to deal with it. Gingka had a problem to admit his lack of self-control and didn't want to expose his emotions and pain to his friends until it was too late. After he learned his lesson, Gingka became open with others and only retrograded in the finale of Fusion, only for his friends to save him again. Afterwards did Gingka became more open, forgiving and calm, and overall more vulnerable. And while Gingka did showed no forgiveness towards later foes, even killing 3, that was with ireedemable monsters, and doesn't count. Gingka's ability to survive by his own wits and courage is something admirable and admired that about others, like within Kenta, Kyoya and Ryuga. But he had unlike the two last examples the humility to allow weakness and fight with others, which made him in the end better than Ryuga even. Gingka has shown to be capable of going inward, and has been able to survive the most extreme conditions more gracefully than others, going further would be laboring the point.
In conclusion: Gingka fits absolutely with Scorpio. He has the emotional powers and intelligence of one, and has the ability to fit with the theme of survivial and revival of Scorpio. Once he had the compacity for the darker sides of this emotional sign, he lost it after some change, also ironically fitting, as Scorpio represents transformation, which fits with Gingka, especially in the first storyline. So far, I say is amongst the best fits! So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 9.5/10
Gingka and Saggitarius:
Yet again another strong fit, especially with this sign also inspiring Kenta's Saggitario, Gingka's first friend he made after leaving Koma Village...it's not difficult to see why it fits:
Saggitarius loves to travel and wander the world with endless freedom, which Gingka also loves doing. Gingka loves to go on adventures, explore and discover new things and has a lot of fun doing it, with the freedom and restles movement, and loving to socialize with everyone around him, all things fitting with Saggitarius. Gingka views even the whole world as home, where he feels the happiest and with friends, and Saggitarius's outlook on the world in the same vein.
Likewise Saggitarius, Gingka is philosophical, one example being at the end of his adventures where he said that the world looks from space like a giant Bey Stadium, showing how life can be just like a game where we all can have fun. Gingka is in fact quite the philosophical one, even telling us often what Beyblade should be, what makes a Blader and Bey truly powerful, and ultimately developing his philosophy, but it isn't necessarily tied to a bigger search for meaning in life, like with Saggitarius, because Gingka has found the meaning of life already, and needs not to search for a bigger meaning...Saggitarius searches for it perhaps forever on the other hand.
Gingka carries optimism, associated with Saggitarius, the forward-moving and believes that everything will work out in the end, just like Gingka, even if he had at times lost faith. However a loss of faith can also be associated with Saggitarius, as this sign is, as I said, on a never ending search for meaning of life, but Gingka never had that kind of dilemma, as his depressions were more the result of failure more than anything, and doesn't fit.
Despite Gingka's honesty, desire to grow and using new opportunities to do so, Gingka isn't that uninhibited or blunt ot the point of rudeness, nor is expansiveness useful to descripe Gingka as he is self-restraint enough to not be this overwhelming towards others. He is too calm for that, even if open with his feelings, which doesn't scream "just like Saggitarius".
Naturally Saggitarius has a love for the sports, outdoor activities and doesn't like commitment to others. The first two things fit Gingka the sportsman and extroverted adventurer that he is, but he can bind himself towards others and isn't afraid of his freedom, he doesn't need freedom and adventure to get away from others, he fears no attachment. Gingka fortunately lacks this signs callousness and lack of carefulness as a major flaw, even if he is at times uncareful, more than he is arrogant. He isn't the most careful person, but Gingka is by no means someone who does everything with a scattershot approach, which means, he does not do things half-heartedly and usually wants to aim at his goal, not shoot it far off into the distance. Potential and possibility is something Gingka wanted always to realisitcally optain, and isn't just doing it aimlessly contemplating it like Saggitarius would. Even if Gingka does that not super-orderly and does go with chance at times. Saggitarius places focus on long-travel, education, faith and philosophy, but this isn't necessarily why Gingka is motivated. He just loves Beyblade, but does love to philosophize about the sport. He is no Socrates, even if profoundly wise.
Similairly with the argument with Aries, this is part of this story being of the action-adventure genre where a protagonist has to have such traits, and can be found in many children's stories, so I give some of it a flack due to Gingka being more than this archetype, on top of fitting with some of the more deeper stuff of this sign, ironically the opposite of Aries, but also reductive.
In conclusion: Alreadly a strong fit, even if the more extreme stuff isn't fitting, but due to getting the depths of Gingka more right than the first example, and the strenght strenght and weakness ratio is more in favor for Saggitarius than for Leo. This is the best Fire sign for Gingka, and even better than Gemini, and matches libra. The big winners were the philosophical nature within limits, as well as the optimism, honesty and love to travel and discover new things, with it's more eccentric parts and dislike towards freedom being endangered (which Gingka never felt) being a bit too innacurate for Gingka, and a bit too much. So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 8.5/10
Gingka and Capricorn:
Ok, when I made this analysis, I already knew that Earth signs aren't fitting with Gingka that well, and Capricorn is no exception, even if it has perhaps more hits than misses in contrast to others, here are the reasons: Capricorn is ambitious and hard working, which Gingka clearly fits, he worked very hard to get where he is at the end, and wants to be the best, and did became that numerous times, but Gingka achieved that by putting all his heart and soul to Beyblade, without letting cruel and cold ambition corrupt him, which ends the similarities with Capricorn. Gingka is also not really a workaholic, who only does hard training, and doesn't really need it to find a sense of purpose. The love for beyblade does it and hard work is a product of this, not the cause. Gingka has usually a relaxed way of doing things. even when he does hard training. He also takes pride and effort in it(hence he despises the arrangement), but not to the point of obession. That was more Ryuga's thing, and even that came with massive issues in the end, like hubris and lacking the power to best Nemesis, which Gingka had by relying on companions and friends he made along the way. This also makes Gingka not fit perfectly with Capricorn, due to this sign wanting to be self-sufficient to do things by themselves without relying on anyone else. This is already established as anethema with Gingka, as I make it clear and also seriously unfitting. Capricorn's ambitious and hard-working nature also comes with a strategic, but ruthless at times approach, which Gingka is not. He is strategic and can plan out things in advance, yes, but not a ruthless tactician, who is callous, that is more of a villian trait than one fitting a paragon like Gingka. Another unfitting thing is Capricorn beign overtly serious and rigid, to the point where they are cold and operate simple out of obligation, which isn't fitting either with Gingka, who is usually, if not always passionate and warm.
Capricorn is organized and reliable, the former is not really Gingka, despite being capable of discipline, but reliable, yeah he is.
Finally Capricorn is a sign that follows the rules and structures(as cardinal sign, it might have created them), but Gingka does that not always. He follows his moral codex, but he will break a wall and believes it to be something he overcomes with Pegasis, which he demonstrated by crushing Tobio, who held to such rigid structures and beliefs. Also this rigidness leads to a conservatism that fits not with Gingka, he is more of a game-changer than keeping it to tradtiion. The only tradition he has kept is that beys should never be used outside of battles as toys of destruction, which admittedly fits, but makes not Gingka a hard-core traditionalist in the way we think. He just wants to protect Beyblade as a sport, and does it out of love and duty, but not out of rigid obligation. Gingka has too much heart for this.
In conclusion: Hard working and ambitious does fit with Gingka, but with nuance and doesn't come with the same rigid, boringness that leads to obligation towards tradition(even if outdated) and doesn't come with ruthlessness. Gingka is too relaxed even for this sign's sterness and relies on team work, not just on himself, that is, again, Ryuga's way. But despite that, it fits more with Gingka than other Earth signs, due to the core of hard work and ambition fitting Gingka more than the other earth signs. So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4.5/10
Gingka and Aquarius:
Gingka and Aquarius actually do deeply fit and it does it better than other, independant signs, without sacreficing the need for community and Gingka's love for friendship. It combines the best of the two worlds.
Aquarius as sign is, despite it's desire for independance, a socialble sign that thrives on working within a group, just like Gingka,.This honestly works as it shows Gingka as he is; Capable on his own, stronger with others. So I think Aquarius does it already better than Aries, Leo and Capricorn for him, and like other Air signs, flows really well with Gingka.
Another Aquarius trait that fits is the friends and groups he forms are held, as a community, by common ideals. In Gingka's case, his whole friend group is held togehter by their believes and ideals about what Beyblade is, Gingka's ideas he spreaded and used to rebel against the dark Nebula or any evil ambition from powerful organizations exploiting Gingka's and his friends's sport and life's passion.
It was Gingka's ideals and believe in collective strenght that helped find friends and shaped the world of Beyblade for the better, and established the front necessary to defend the world from many threats. The biggest of which was at the end of Fury, The God of Destruction, Nemesis, who wanted to rule the world with tyranny and cruelty, under his image. And Nemesis was defeated by all the bladers in the world giving Gingka his powers, for he saved them back then many times and showed them all the times what a real Beyblade is meant to be, by spreading the idea of a just and enlightened Blader through gifting his knowledge and demonstrating it. This helped create the best and most ideal Beyblade world in his time and helped unify the whole world, having saved it with hope. The truth is also that Pegasis is the origin of all modern Beys having gifted it's power to them all, hence they were able to give their powers to defeat Nemesis, and as Bey was born from Humanity's hope. Concidentally, it fits with the methaphorical meaning of Aquarius:
Aquarius is the sign of humanitarianism, which envisions a better world, meaning a world that cares about humanity's ideal future, by passing it's knowledge like a cup of water it pours for the humans to drink from. Aquarius gifts people the knowledge to benefit humanity, as it represents the ideal of a just and enlightened society. Similiarly, the ancestors of Gingka with Pegasis gifted knowledge of Beyblade to the world by using Pegasis as basis to give everyone not just the form, but power that created this setting's most important technology: Bey and Beyblades! And the intent was not just fun, but to connect people to form a community and with unity, came strenght, and a free and save world for the people. This is the Light of Hope that Gingka carries, and as Aquarius is said to represent Hopes. Gingka's ideal was, while not what we would call politically humanitarian, a vision of an ideal future where the hopes for the future are protected by Gingka and all Bladers, who love Beyblade. And carrying these Hopes, Gingka set out to change the world for the good and better, for everyone, and save it from the dark evils of destruction and total mayham. The Light of Hope has won over darkness and evil, and Gingka had the determination to bring about the Hopeful vision for the future, just as Aquarius as sign would.
A rather fitting metaphor and as Gingka is the successors to the founders of Beyblade, this fits, with him especially changing the world for the better.
Gingka however just hasn't the detachment that makes Aquarius feel suffocated through strong emotions. Gingka loves emotions, even if he does love to have rational discourse, he is not just a ball of feelings, he is capable of rationality, as seen when he often was the most reasonable member of his group. Aquarius is also characterized by a super strong desire to be free and independent. Aquarius needs to feel to be able to honor it's own power and talents, it's creative energy, while taking care of the group and keeping the cohesion. Aqauarius loves collective and colloberated effort, but also paradoxically, is individualistic...but it can work with them, even when it struggles at times. However Gingka did mostly not struggling with maintaing his own ability to shine while working with others, and can work well with them and keeping the team cohesive..unless it was Masamune (in the beginning) and Kyoya (who really was just being selfish at that time), but overtime he learned working with Masamune, learn from the Beylin Temple how to work more in a team, and Kyoya even came around. Gingka does have the Aquarius's ability to work within the group without being completely dependant on them and has his own strenght, but he doesn't struggle with that like Aquarius would as far as maintaining individuality is concerned.
Aquarius' with it's love for teh community also loves friendships, and it matter to Aquarius, as even lovers have for this sign to be best friends. This means they need freedom and space, which Gingka does get, as we can see him alone without too much disturbances, especially during Fusion and Shogun Steel. He had however fo a time during his struggle to deal with his first loss against L-Drago, become detached, but unhealthy so. It was clear that his friends need to help him and without them, he would have not gotten the answer. If this is workable with Aquarius, seems to be the case, as it's rational, but emotionally, it is rather closed off...so with this, I say Gingka has rather healthy relationships that can work with Aquarius's standards, as he needed some distance but not totally, as even when detached, Aquarius needs it's friends. Heck, Gingka was initially more reserved and at distance with his friends initially, but managed to get closer to them, and they became best friends. So it fits mostly, even if not "stereotypically".
While we get into stereotypes, Gingka is a rational fellow, has no real interest in science or technology despite understanding physics somewhat. He really struggled with understanding concepts like Einstein's theory of relativity, but then again, this is not his subject and Gingka isn't some dude who would feel like he needs to feel superior to others via intellect, he is humble after all. Fittingly, Gingka fights unconventionally, and as Aquarius wants to be unconventionally and break rules...Gingka shows often his cleverness to go beyond what he was taught and come up with clever things by himself, even if someone gives him inspiration, Gingka figures most things out by himself, and he is quite gifted at that. He used in the stadium a tactic, where he fought and won against Tobio, who had the advantage with the walls and talked how Ryuga was like a wall unbreakable. Metaphorically, Gingka used Stormbringer as example in defiance to walls and structures against the oppressive rule of the Dark Nebula, by showing the submissive Tobio, that the walls he embraced, can be broken, both in the stadium where they fought, and the ones created by Ryuga, and Gingka rebells against such rules, similiarly like Aquarius.
Aquarius acknowledges rules, but also breaks them when needed. Gingka is someone like that at times. While he follows rules, he understands and acknowledges that they should be broken sometimes, hence he challenged Team Garcia and Team Starbreaker to prove a point, even if they could have just been disqualified for assaulting his team, which his father approved...he got that from him. And also believes any wall can be broken, even if that wall is Ryuga during Fusion, and like Aquarius, doesn't bow to tyrants and breaks rules for new ones to take their place, like those ensuring a free and save Beyblade world. Despite that, Gingka respect the rules and doesn't break them all the time, as he follows often the WBBA's instructions and the prophecies of Dynamis, he just has at ties a healthy disrespect for authoritarian types and walls.
Aquarius is change for an ideal world, and Gingka gifted that, when he spreaded his ideals of Beyblade to the world, stood unique, tall and strong, while people tried to stop him, and showed everyone the ideal of Beyblade that they should pursue: A Sport of friendship where all battle together to forge bonds of steal, with respect, justice, where all are equals, and where all have spirited and fierce battles to bond over, and open their hearts to one another in such clashes. With the love and hope for the future guiding them. Their shining Light of Hope that opens the way to their future, like Stars showing us the way, forming constellations and Galaxies and Universes.
This development we saw in it's culmination during the Nemesis Crisis. Gingka saw potential in others and proving to us, that you need hope to have a better future...without it, we lose everything and that the most deciding factor in a battle against darkness, is the spirit of light, hope and love, pure and shining cosmic light. The same thing that Gingka had, and that is more like Aquarius, than simply just being a genius inventor. Gingka might not be a great scientist or a great political leader, like how stereotypically Aquarius is seen as, but Gingka brought change like an Aquarius by fighting in a group and community formed by ideals of Hope and Wisdom, the knowledge of a true Blader!
The Power of Aquarius is Hope after all! This is also Gingka's power, Hope!
In Conclusion: He fits this rather unconventionally, and thus perhaps more fittingly than someone who is stereotypical Aquarius. Gingka encompasees it's ideal, even without the scientific stuff, and out of all air signs and fire signs, it gets the ideal right and even the thematic influence of GIngka, so idealistically, he does really fit, but not entirely, for he is a bit too emotional for this, but it works well. So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9/10
Gingka and Pisces:
Gingka and Pisces are two things I do strongly associate with one another, in large part due to fitting much of it's personality traits and archetype, and even mythology..so I will go to the magical trip of showing you the similialrity towards Gingka and Pisces here and how it fits him as well, as the other Water signs:
Gingka has a love for the magical and spiritual side of Beyblade, that is ultimately what he preaches and believes in, that Beyblade is a sport that fights with all the heart and soul of someone connected to a Bey. And that the Blader's Spirit, the feelings, thoughts and will of the Blader decided the match, not the material. To Gingka, the immaterial, intangible, cosmic source of power that is the human soul is what makes Beyblade the sport it is...not it's material, "real" value, but it's immaterial value, from the internal world of feelings and imagination. A believe that fits with Pisces as gently as Gingka does.
To Gingka, dreams are important and ultimately what he pursues each time, when he was aiming to be the best Blader and save the world from Evil. His first opponent was L-Drago, and wanted to protect the sanctity of Beyblade from the Dark Nebula, which he succedded by holding that faith as well as in others. Then having that shared dream with his friends to become the best Bladers in the world championship, a dream that he carried in the World Championship finale, and then crushing Hades Inc's ambitions after they tried to profit from that dream. FInally fighting for the hope and dream of a better future against the God of Destruction and it's doomstay prophecy to bring about the world's destruction. Gingka's faith in his dreams, his sacrefices to fulfil each dream and even connecting to the source of Beyblade each time, being devoted and following his feelings rather than focusing on "realistic" possibility and limits. This is also best shown in his battles against Ryutaro, who used air pressure to break his spirit, but it failed when Gingka uses his intuition and feelings to create a brand new special move called "Full Power", the precursor to Storm Bringer, to defeat Ryutaro, and then did it so again when he followed his love for Beyblade. A perhaps better example is when L-Drago had a chance of winning against Pegasis that is 0.03% according to Madoka's anaylsis, a realistic outcome, but Gingka followed his intuition, his in fact best strategy each time something wasn't working, and declared that his faith in Pegassis and himself is strong enough to defeat L-Drago, as is his faith in the Blader Spirit, not the mundane reality of things... His winning over those really hard odds fits with Pisces that way. Gingka's dreams and belief, and following them blindly, are what gives him power. they escape reality, and create a new one that is more real than the one before, and turns magically defeat to victory...which is what Doji meant, that neither cunning or muscle can beat Gingka, though ironically, he tried to rely on that and failed. Pisces's dreams aren't however realistically working. Often they can lead to escapism and delusion, which Gingka isn't suffering from, as these dreams come true, but that is the power of the otherwordly that Beys enable: The Infinite Possibility of the Human's Spirit. But that doesn't mean that Gingka cannot get deluded, he was for a one time, where being a Legendary Blader got into his head, but he overcame that. He represents the ideals, but not always the danger of following them, Pisces-like dreams.
Like all the Water signs, Pisces is emotionally intuitive, sensitive and receptive and takes in the feelings of others, because of this, Pisces has a selfless and compassionate side that wants to help others, by being charitable and giving. Gingka is alot like that, but Pisces's sensitivity goes even deeper than Scorpio and Cancer, as it can lead to being overwhelmed by emotions quickly, which Gingka is not due to being naturally resillient. Yet Gingka can be overwhelmed by them when it was the whole world that gave his feelings and willpower to beat Nemesis, but after he defeated Nemesis did that happen, not during the fight. So I say it fits with Pisces, but only with nuance and limits.
Before moving on to something serious, I wanna mention this funny info: A Piscis trait is that they tend to be idealistic AND also romantic, and always follow the magic of it! Gingka is not romantic, though one thing is: his near romantic love for Beyblade, which he sacrefices and devotes himself to with the magic of a true idealist! The closest thing to romance Gingka had ever shown, something Madoka got out of him. He competely devotes his soul and sacrefices everything for Beyblade. Traits also fitting with Pisces being self-sacreficing. Though Pisces would like real romance, but passion for something is important I think too here.
Gingka is somewhat naive as I made it clear in the beginning, which Pisces is too, as well as having been taken advantage off at times, which Pisces also has as issue, since that sign trust blindly anyone, but Gingka is not anymore naive than other, smarter characters who fell for tricks, so I am not sure to count this, but given how really easy he wants to believe in others, I can say it somewhat is true, a bit better here than with Aries. Another part about Pisces is that it's as sign also fickle and elusive, and needed when under distress a long time to recharge. The closest thing to it is when Gingka , as he kept when stressed distance from his friends, even towards Kenta and broke his promise to play with Kenta after telling his backstory with Ryuga, by leaving to find new strenght again after a spiritual journey. But again, this was during Gingka's worst moment, and only done so a single time, so it's hard to say that about him. He loves having close bonds, and isn't afraid of them. Pisces is also as a surprise, more bothered when it's actually contracts and obligations, which Gingka doesn't really have, so I let that pass, and say that initially he had been somewhat like this, but after character development, not anymore.
But one flaw of Pisces does fit, and that Pisces can feel disilluionment and disenchantment, basically loosing oneselves in dreams or disillusionment. Pisces here is like a two fishes swimming in opposite directions: One swins through the river and oceans, the other jumps out of it...part of it is here, the other is lost. Gingka himself was being prone to just that: Losing himself actually a lot. Like Pisces as sign is often prone to drift away, Gingka drifted often away from reality, especially after a loss, and sometimes forgetting his own teachings in heated moments, and needing afterwards to remember them. Fusion showed it most prominently, and later on in Masters and Fury having at times drifted away mentally due to almost anything distracting him from what is important and not often seeing the real picture and/or having due to tragedies lost touch with himself and falling to delusions and disenchantment. That is his biggest character flaw, he sometimes loses himself in false perceptions of himself, and can get, especially in Fusion.
Pisces has a tendency to drift away into delusions and false realities, suffering even disilluisonment and disenchantment because of this, which undermines it's efforts. Similiarly, this happened to Gingka twice in Fusion: One time, his view of himself when he lost to L-Drago and when losing so many friends to L-Drago have let to that, as he got lost in guilt and loses the connection to himself. He nearly forsaked almost all he believed in, by attacking again with anger, only to be rescued by his friends who reminded him of how to really fight, as he taught them and how he envisioned Beyblade to be as. Gingka with this fits Pisces greatly, though the rescue part is more something they wish, which Gingka probably didn't. But the rest as negative traits is what I call his biggest flaw, and something he has to overcome each time! In Masters, he forgot how both Blader and Bey have to be one, only for Masamune and Ryuga to show him, the latter helping him to even see that he falsely thought, that he mastered Pegasis, showing him that he his perception is wrong, and needs to change that. And in Fury, he did that as well, thinking that only with the Bey's power he can win, and had to realize after his loss with Ryuga, that his Blader Spirit can only decide victory, notthing else. I think with that Gingka fits again with Pisces. Only at the end of each storey did he really realize what kind of person he truly is in terms of potential and the one he was ever destine to be...and then to forget it somewhat, but then regaining that faith in his true potential...with one event, I wann save at last. Another trait of Pisces that I say isn't perfectly represented is the love for creativity, as Gingka isn't an artist, but when Pisces cannot use it's talents, they feel like a fish out of water, similiarly to how Gingka was feeling, when he had no Bey for almost an entire year. This and many moments as I made clear these moments really undermined him in his efforts, were he lost himself, only to find himself again, but he learned from them and taught others the same, who in turn helped him overcome it and become the hero of the story to save the world.
This is perhaps the most fitting thing with Pisces; Gingka is very much the Savior of the Beyblade World. Pisces is as archetype the savior that wants to rescue and wishes to be rescued, the former fits with Gingka, not the latter. But still, Gingka as character is the archetpye of the heroic savior that is compassionate and devoted towards the world and with his empathy and strong hope to save the world, he is ready to protect it from all dangers. An ideal that Pisces follows. He does that with boundless idealism and empathy, while also not holding back against his foes. He dedicated everything to Beyblade and will not allow the dreams of humanity to be used and destroyed by dark forces. This is his higher calling, to be the Light of Hope of Beyblade that paves the way for the future, and one that is in tune with the world itself, even with the source of Beyblade: The Blader Spirit! WIth this, Gingka fits the most with Pisces out of all the other traits he could share. As Pisces's purpose is to find the higher calling to pursue and sacrefice itself for. Gingka just did that all the time.
Pisces as sign is amongst the most empathetic and compassionate...it is also charitable and sefless, which are things that fit with Gingka's heroism. Pisces is said to be the sign that, as the last one, carries a piece of every other sign, and thus can see the points and feelings of everything, which can be overwelming, but when used correctly, can lead to the most empathetic person ever, that sees everyone and gets people, and take in all their power, in the most ideal sense. This selfless empathy and kindness that is emotional sensitive to the world around him is the ideal of Gingka that was made real. This is Gingka, his Heart follows the dreams of a world where Beyblade is peaceful and beautiful. He opens to the pure source of Beyblade, and discovers the the hearts, dreams, love and hope of everyone...and takes all theri combined power and their hopes to form the Light of Hope, the way to the future!!! Where people can pour all their hearts to Beyblade, as if all the power of the Universe was poured into it. Putting their heart as big as the starry sky into it. The Light of Hope was a hope for the future, with the Wings of Hope leading people to this dream. Beyblade is about the heart in the stadium that is Earth, in a Universe watching them, where the Stars form constellations, just as Bladers form bonds of steel with each other and together, sharing their love for Beyblade and finding the Light of Hope to open their way to the Future! This is Pisces as well. Having Dreams as big as those born of Light, Hope and Love! Gingka fits with this spirit Pisces perfectly. He fulfiled the dreams of everyone with his compassion! He helped bring the Light of Hope that paved the way for their hopes, dreams and love for Beyblade and the future!
In conclusion: Gingka has synergy with Pisces, due to fitting his dreamer attitude and his emotionally empathy and selfless devotion to the world around him and giving them hopes to fulfil their dreams. But Gingka despite loving immaterial aspects and getting lost in false perceptions, can find the true reality back and better, transform it into something ideal by the power of his heart and that of his friends, who's heart he opened. Eeven when once dischanted, he overcame it with faith. So he isn't reclusive or ultimately sensitive to the point of suffering, but he is sensitive like an idealist would and has a strong bone, or rather, a strong Blader Spirit able to withsand even darkness. And he did that through selflessness and sacreficing himself more times than one can count. Ultimately, Gingka follows this sign mostly by viewing Gingka as he is idealistically...a Hero that saves the world from evil with the Light of Hope, shining even to the Starry sky with everyone's power, as if the whole power of the Cosmos was poured into him! So I say, Gingka has a a high compatability level with Pisces! So I give it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10
So who won?
Despite the rating, it is much closer than you think! All the Water signs do fit Gingka perfectly, all of them, but Pisces has a slight edge here in that in shows the heroism much better and the level of empathy of pisces is grander and universal, while being more seen as a savior than Scorpio and Cancer. Scorpio has many traits that go well, like emotional intelligence and getting at the heart of the issue, but Gingka is a forgiving person usually, and can understand people too well to really be this grudgful, which also is true for Cancer, but unlike the vengeful approach, has a manipulative side towards it. Pisces, with all of the emotional pros and cons of the other water signs, and having a consistent weakness of Gingka falling into mental traps set up by him, and forgetting himself at times, fits naturally better. Empathy and compassion are strongly associated with Gingka as well as with Pisces, and while Pisces can be at times too forgiving, as I said, no sign fits perfectly, and Pisces people can get angry and really hurt and do not always forgive...so it's not so simple. Aquarius would have, if not for the technology bit, and it's emotional closed-offness been a strong winner, so the Water signs would always win in this case, as I predicted.
Also Pisces wins for a reasons I kept a bit secret, and that is this:
As the final sign, Pisces is the one who carries parts of each sign within it, due to the zodiac wheel moving from sign to sign, and thus with Pisces being nr.12...this is true for Pegasis as well, as it carries within it the power of all the Beys via being the origin point of all modern beys and thus is connected to them. Pegasis is thus the true core of all Metal Beys and each of it carries it's feelings of Hope, similiarly how Gingka's hope is carried by all those he touched. Pisces as the 12th is, despite diffrent circumstances, a lot like that! Pisces due to this isn't perfect however. This sign has kind of a foggy vision, due to many perspectives coloring it and making it feel like it's dreaming, and so it does. Pisces is however not the strongest sign with this, the others have more specialized skills it does not have, and Pisces has skills it focuses on much better, but has not all of it, unless it works with them, but then again, any sign when used in astrology can be flexible. Anyway that is a big reason, the other his mythology, and then symbolism!
Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and Neptune, the former represents Hope, Growth and Optimism, the latter represents Dreams, Idealism, Spirituality. Jupiter is known as Zeus whereas Neptune is known as Poseidon! Both of the planets give Pisces it's idealistic and dreamy character...but Pegasus in mythology is also associated with Jupiter/Zeus and Neptune/Poesidon. In mythology, Pegasus was the child of Poseidon and Medeus, but would become a servant of Zeus and fetches his lightning Bolts. As Gingka has Pegasis, the Bey based on the winged horse belonging to Zeus, and child of Poseidon, the associated with Pisces makes now more sense mythologically and even in the story has Gingka close ties to Zeus, not only has he important moments with the Jupiter blader Dynamis, but also Zeus gifted him the power of the Autumm season, to which the Pegasis constellation belongs to as well...and guess who is near Pegasis as closest neightbor of all the zodiac signs? Pisces, and the close second, Aquarius! They are part of the Northern Sky and really close. So not only mythologically, but also astronomically it fits with Pisces, as Pisces is thus like Pegasis an Autumm constellation.
Finally as the last reason: Pisces is associated also with Jesus Christ, and as he is the archetypical savior, Pisces can be seen from this lense as well, as famously he is viewed as representing the sign. However Astrology isn't the only who who uses that figure as association, Beyblade also has parallels with Jesus via Gingka Hagane! He is the savior who often saves the world, is gifted by his father the Blader Spirit to teach it, and Gingka is very much resembling his father. Gingka teaches like Jesus the meaning of Beyblade to his friends and disciples and fights also not just against a false prophet known as Doji manipulating things, but also against the devil and it's antichrist; King Hades/Pluto and Nemesis respectively. So this, while not the most obvious example, I think works well. This idea with the trinity is btw from our @mrcompass, I will tag him here! So there were some hidden reasons.
So Gingka's sign is Pisces...at least as I view it now!
Yeah, that is the end for this, for now! I can say however that the other 2 Water signs are Good enough fits as well, and Aquarius would be my actual close second due to secret reason Nr2, as well as generally fiting with his role in the story as well.
