2Z is a Korean rock band currently under GoGo2020 . The group is made by 5 members: Bumjun, Hojin, Jiseob, Junghyun and Zunon. They first debuted with their EP We Tuzi : My 1st Hero. Currently they only have two EPs: We Tuzi and Nostrum which were released on 2020 and their single Let's Go For It in

 For now they do not have any official fan colors but they do have a fandom name! They call their fans From A. Cute isn’t it? Meet The Members: 

     1. Bumjun 

Bumjun’s birth name is Park Bum jun. He’s the leader and drummer of the group! His birthday is on February 3,1999 an awesome Aquarius if you ask me!

     2. Hojin  

Meet our second member Hojin. He’s currently the main vocalist for the band.  His birth name is Kim Ho Jin. And he’s a Cancer! He was born on July 3, 2001.

       3.Jiseob

  Meet Jiseob! His birth name is Jung Ji Seob and he is the vocalist and guitarist of the band. He was bored on November 11, 2001! 

     4.  Junghyun

Meet the maknae! Junghyun or Lee Jung Hyun being his birth name. He is the maknae, vocalist and bassist of the mand. Our little maknae is a taurus! He was born on May 20. 2002  

5. Zunon

And last but not least, we have our mysterious new member Zunon. Zunon, was presented in the group on August 1, 2020 with their digital single Let Go For it. For now there's not much information about this member but we currently know he is the pianist of the group. Welcome, Zunon! Hopefully, we will know and see more of you soon! 

Jackson Wang is a Hong Kong born rapper, singer, dancer and music producer. When he was young, he moved to South Korea where he debuted alongside his 6 brothers in a K-Pop group called Got7. On March 20, 2020, he released his new epic solo comeback titled “100 Ways” after his first solo album “Mirrors” on October 2019. 100 ways is such a beautiful combination of Chinese and Western Culture styles.  The track is a blend between smooth instrumentals and house music, accompanied by instruments like electric guitar and a hint of TRAP.

All Time Low has struck gold again. The rock band released a new single from their upcoming album, “Wake Up, Sunshine,” last week.

“Getaway Green” offers a great take on the rock bands old pop punk music with catchy guitar riffs and lyrics. And yes, since the title has green in it, the band’s public relations team did an excellent job releasing it on St. Patrick’s Day.

The band tells a story of “fade away youth” through the song, “sittin’ on your sofa, reminiscing over 23.” The pre-chorus speaks to our youthful days of having wonderful weekends and summers. The chorus itself takes the color green as a way to showcase a relationship by relating it to “the Costa Mesa traffic lights.” It also is a way to let listeners know how the singer sees this relationship “in a world of black and white.”

This released song comes at a time in the world where music can help us pass the time. With the spread of Coronavirus Disease, or COVID-19, the world has seemed to come to a complete stop. Countries are shutting down and people are being asked to stay home.  

“What’s the point of going out when you could just give me a call?” the second line in the song is what many people are having to do right now; making it relatable.

Park Chi-woong (박치웅) known as Xydo (시도) is a South Korean singer and producer. He debuted on August 2019 under GROOVL1N with a digital single titled  “#OOTD (Ft. Coogie)”.

Today he came back with another amazing song titled “ Betting” ft pH-1. The song is a mix of pop electronic with some chilling reggae sounds on the back accompanied by Xydo’s smooth vocals and pH-1’s fast moving rap.  I imagine myself cruising down the beach or downtown playing this song in full volume. Also, we cannot forget about the Music video! I love that the smoothness of this vocals are accompanied by a sexy style music video where you have Xydo playing poker with a beautiful lady next to him and then having a fabulous photoshoot. What I love a lot about the music video are the deep cool colors, the black and white scenes and then when pH-1 starts to rap the colors change to more of a warmer vibe.

This is Xydo’s 1st Ep Album!  I love the whole album but if i had to pick my favorite song hands down is SnapShot ft. VINNI!

On March 19, 2020 Hayley Williams, Paramore vocalist, recently released a new song titled, “ROSES/LOTUS/VIOLET/IRIS” , which will belong to her solo album, Petals For Armor. It’s a wonderful song that was done alongside Taylor York (Paramore member) and Daniel James (songwriter and producer).  Also, the song features sweet background vocals from Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus whom are members of Boy Genius (an indie rock group).

The first thing I notice about Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris is the old school rock vibe of it with a combination of pop. It’s a laid back song you would listen to while you cruise down the beach, or whenever you want to just relax in bed. Another thing that caught my attention was the smooth violin playing in the back, oh my goodness, that little detail was so nice. I was so in to the drum and bass that when the violin sounds came in I got chills. I just loved it. And can we talk about those harmonies? Just wow. I was really excited for this song and I fell in love with it once I heard it. I remember Paramore being one of the first bands I listened to as well as That’s What You Get and playing it on Rock Band! I’m really proud of Hayley Williams and her long journey in music. I’m really looking forward to other ventures she will surprise us with.

George Kusunoki Miller, A.K.A. Joji, had released his song “Gimme Love” in April 16, 2020.

The song starts off with the muted rush of rhythmic claps that leads to a progression of sub bass along with his own vocals. Then comes a wipe to the chorus of the song with his vocals singing “Gimme Love”. The kicks and claps drive the song forward yet his calm vocals, almost whispering, gives a great juxtaposition with the kicks and laps. They mix well together and balance each other out so that it gives the sense of calm along with the lyrics “Gimme Love”.

Then comes the transition to the outro of the song. The modern production of kicks, bass, claps, and subs are traded out with a guitar that’s almost harp like. The whole vibe of the song changes from being rushed; to taking a chill pill. Then bring in the piano and his vocal choir. They bring to the song almost a vibe of revelation. The violins help to bring emphasis to his lyrics and to drive the song forward to something like mental clarity. Each layer is built up one by one. The plucking guitar being the driver, the piano and vocals providing substance, the violins giving emphasis to his lyrics.

Gimme Love, according to my interpretation, is almost like the realization about yourself regarding the feeling that you want somebody to give you love and that somebody is one that you feel might not be able to keep up with you.

On January 9, 2019, the 6 member K-pop group Oneus debuted under RBW Entertainment (Rainbow Bridge World) with their hit song, Valkyrie. Now a year later, they came back with another amazing song titled A Song Written Easily. Which belongs to their 1st single album In Its Time. I want to say something before we start, can we just appreciate that sound change? From having such a hyper energetic song we have a new song that is more smooth and relaxing. It’s true that their voices do fit any genre of music. I don’t know if it was written easily, but definitely was easy to love with how catchy it is in the beginning. Their melodic voices, the harmonies, the mix of rap and vocals, the latin/tropical vibe just makes you want to dance or just relax.

They also released a music video for the fans that, when you first it, you think that it’s a ballad bit it constantly changes vibes. It’s so perfect! The location, nature, and the group. Can I just say how the choreography creates a balance that makes you want to be inside the music video. This unique blend of style keeps me replaying the song over and over. I cannot wait for what Oneus comes out with next! Best of Luck!
