today is my last of being 27! i turn 28 tomorrow, isn't that silly? this year feels like a total blur, like i literally just celebrated my birthday last week. but i suppose that is just how time marches forward. when i break down the year i'm reminded of:

june: a great start to 27 i had a fun birthday, trampoline park, getting a villager dog bowl, line dancing at the palace. i hopped on tour with corrinne bailey rae, and we played central park summer stage :') and visited lots of my favorite places on the east coast (nj, nyc, toronto, boston, albany). it was a short run but a sweet one <3

i spent the summer swimming, and hanging with lucy, and crying. i finally got my own insurance for the first time RIP and got on anti depressants, a huge mile stone for me and a game changer, i stopped crying entirely infact.

by fall i made one of the hardest decisions of my life: to let go of lucy and rehome her. i know it was for the best but i still miss my sweet girl. it was just not our time for each other. i hope she is so happy with her new family, i know i needed to be set free from the pain of an abusive relationship that she, to no fault of her own, reminded me of. god do i miss her.

however this opened the door to me joining the best tour of my life with the montell fish crew. somehow maybe the best month of my life, i was so happy and thankful everyday.

i really needed to have ownership back over my life. i think i did that this year.

i still struggle with self confidence but as i type this i feel maybe the most assured in who i am. i know i will never fit in or be normal, but i am who i am and that's not going to change!

i started january and some of february traveling south east asia, and i finally went to JAPAN!!!!!!! I did some other fun work, painted a bit more, did small van run with john vincent iii, and FINALLY this last month of being 27, I painted my first MURAL!!! That really came in clutch as a victory of my 27th year <3

I hope I keep growing and getting prettier and hotter every day of 28.
