Thanks! Ya we filmed everything in psyko and yes nagajoose/hoephase/giant spider where all filmed with vx1000. But ya best way to learn is to just keep making stuff and explore all the different art and movies out there.

I don't remember seeing it in skate videos but there's a lot of films with some crazy cinematography

Used a hvx but wouldn’t recommend it if your spending more than 400 it's all about settings:editing:and no compression when it comes to quality $

Yes we are! It's called PSYKO. Basically finished it, just need to set up a premiere and finish a few other things before we release it. I don't know about dvds.. do people still want dvds?

Hoephase preview was rendered out of final cut 7 with the QuickTime conversion export, I don't think I changed any settings other than turning on the deinterlace option. Basically just h.264 compression with the default settings. Maybe changed the audio to aac. Usually I just trial and error to see what looks and sounds the best. Sometimes it also helps if you export the entire sequence full quality, then import that file into a new timeline before you export/compress, but if your using a compressor outside of your editing program your probably already doing that anyway
