One of the coolest inventions to come out of Quarantine: SHOELRY (“shewl-ery”). A high-end accessory for your shoe.

Shoelry is the epitome of quarantine fashion because it confidently says  ‘I’ve taken up crafting in the absence of socializing.”

There was so much freedom in never seeing anyone. Every questionable whim and desire (shoelry) could be satisfied with little to no confrontation from a friend. This was bigger than Shoelry. Cake slice delivery everyday? Yeah.  Unseasonable beanie wearing? YEAH.  1 Pumpkin earring from Michaels? Cool! Tie Dying all my clothes and thinking it’s a business. ENTERPRISE!

I really liked this part of quarantine. It’s sad that everyone else thinks it’s over.  I refuse to be tricked into self discipline again.  I will never let shoelry die.  I will continue to take inappropriately timed naps.   It’s August. My Beanie is on.  I will continue my enterprise with my new idea:  Life is GAY shirts. Watch out - enterprise!!

I have an entire series of photographs of Wendy’s trash on the ground.  It’s only funny if you know that I produce all of Wendy’s advertising. 

You think you’re done thinking about work and then you see a little crumpled Wendy’s drowning in a puddle and suddenly you’re catapulted back into the work thought you we’re trying to ignore. 

The flip side of it - and really, only on a good day - is ‘wow, everyone likes the thing I work on so much they literally are throwing it all over the place.’
