Theme 04: “What kind of person is Sousuke Yamazaki?”
Makoto Tachibana A while ago when I was visiting my hometown, I went to a sports equipment shop and saw Sousuke lining up at the cashier by chance. He was holding a really gaudy jersey with zebra print, so I was quite shocked. Just as I was thinking “So Sousuke wears this kind of clothes, huh…” which is quite unexpected, he was on the phone with someone saying “A black-and-white jersey, right? I’ve got it,” brimming with confidence the whole time. In the end, Sousuke really bought that jersey and left. And it suddenly hit me: is that what a “black-and-white jersey” means…? But Sousuke looked really happy with himself, so I thought it didn’t matter. And when I saw him again after, I offhandedly asked him about the incident, and turns out his older cousin asked him to shop for a jersey for him. Apparently, someone from the higher-ups was going to be at a training course for chefs, so he wanted a new jersey for the occasion….huh, so, was that zebra print really okay!? Kazuma Katou Ah…yeah, that school that Sousuke went to, called Samezuka? They did that thing called “Maid Cafe” at the cultural festival, didn’t they? I heard that the omlette rice was very well received. Well, ultimately, I’m the one who taught Sousuke how to cook it, so of course it’s delicious!
