AU where after the big Hawkmoth battle, Ladybug & Chat Noir never revealed who they were, and Master Fu took back the Miraculouses. But Marinette feels the weight of no longer being able to help those who need it, and the power her Miraculous gave her. But then she sees a chat-esque masked man running around the streets of paris, fighting crime without powers (I’ll draw later) and she takes matters into her own hands.

This is gonna be a Vigilates AU. I’m sure there’s a similar fanfic out there, if anybody knows any, link me up! I honestly having read much ML fanfiction/AO3 so ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

Some other details I was thinking of adding in include Hawkmoth’s death (and Adrien’s sealing with it after), Marinette dating Luka who’s there for her post-Ladybug, aged up (approx 5 years later, so 18-19), and a little darker I guess?

As of Timetagger, we know that adult miraculous users don’t have to detransform after using their superpowers. It was implied in Day of Heroes that this is why Gabriel doesn’t have to detransform after sending an akuma, but now we have absolute confirmation with Ladybug’s line about Bunnyx. What we don’t know is why younger miraculous holders have this limitation while adults do not. I initially thought it might have something to do with the strength of the miraculous coming from the user, but the events of Timetagger have convinced me otherwise.

We know that Bunnyx was sent back to ancient Egypt, over 5,000 years. Yet, when she comes out, she doesn’t seem to have aged. Future Alix looks like she’s maybe in her 20′s?

At any rate, she doesn’t look elderly at all. So it stands to reason that while transformed, her aging processes stop. (This could also potentially explain how Master Fu has lived to be 186 years old, if he may have had to stay transformed for a long period of time at some point.)

… Which is exactly what she did next with her plan by teaming up with her future self.

It’s why Bunnix knows how to use her powers without being timed out (she’s had her miraculous with her the longest technically, and is no stranger to the concept of time)

As for Hawkmoth, he’s known about the miraculous long before Ladybug and Chat Noir. He may have started being Hawmoth not too long, but there’s more we don’t know to him as well as it relating to Emile.

From what we see, apparently Nathalie might have known for longer too.

Reason for their efficiency?

It’s probably not just because “they’re adults so they can automatically be more powerful”.
