Evius perked up, and raced towards Fountain, skidding to a halt a few feet in front of her. “What’s up?”

“Nah, it’s fine. I need them to see stuff from far away, so I’m just gonna keep ‘em with me…” She sighed. One thing she hadn’t noticed, was that her hair turned dark blue, along with any ink she may have had in a tank or otherwise.

“Alright! I guess we’ve done everything we need to. Just stick close to me and we should be all good. Now let’s get going.”

Evius took the clothes, and donned them over her uniform. They fit just fine, and she sorta hid her hair a little. “Uh… You alright there? You seem out of breath.”

“What? Noooo, it can’t be that late. Can it?” The inkling pats herself, looking for a watch or her phone. “... I left my phone in my coat. Maybe it can. I think the shops are open late though. Are you sure you don’t wanna try and do this now?”

“Sure! I mean, I’d need to know what size you are first, so it might take a day or two, but I could totally do that! You can stay at mine maybe.” Fountain shrugs, and stretches, her mouth opening wide for a few moments. “Or like twenty minutes. I’ll go grab my clothes, then you can try them on, and if they fit then I’ll just grab a backup outfit and we can both head to mine. Or I’ll have to snag something from the shops that I think will fit.”

“It’s a shame you can’t come up top to show off without worrying about all the stigma and stuff. Although maybe I could find you some stuff in your size and you could come up with me?” Fountain grins, looking very happy with herself over that one. Eternal optimist, huh?

The inkling raises the zapfish a bit higher up, pressing it against her chest so she can tap the side of her head. “Well. He seems it, at least. My mom says everyone should play some instrument, but that was always waaaaay too much effort for me. Are you any good?”

“The first rule of combat is to cause minimal trauma for all involved.” Fountain half salutes, which makes her almost drop the zapfish, so she just focuses on holding it close. “Plus, eh, you guys are alright, maybe a bit uptight for my liking.
