Loving Kim soleum is knowing that the love you show him will never be enough for him to stay.  that despite everything you would sacrifice for him it would never be enough.  Loving him is like loving a powerless god he will always appreciate your love for him but that wont ever be able to change the end result.  he will do anything for you, beside staying for you.

. but at the same time he is also sooooo selfish. he knows at some point that his friends love him and would literally do ANYTHING for him and will be heartbroken when he’s gonna disappear. (an example would be his team from the bureau when he used the wish ticket. )

and despite knowing all that he still wishes to go home and to be save from this ghost story busllshit. Not that i am judging him, like go my man be free

you know what would be really delicious? Kim soleum having a trauma from trains after the Tamra express incident. I want to see a full blown out panic attack in front of agent bronze and agent Choi where he is parts unresponsive and they are panicking because „what’s the matter??? What’s happening to him?? Why can’t we help??“

I think we don’t talk enough about the fact that Kim soleum gave baek saheon his eye after being the reason the he lost it in the first place. Every time he looks in his reflection he will see that eye he got as a “gift”. Every time he is reminded of him. Does he despise him? I don’t know The only thing I know is that he is undoubtedly linked to him through this eye. like, the same eye is also the reason that he can always identify kim soleum (beside the one time he didn’t realised his crush was his evil roommate and he went in deep denial). In a way he is attuned to him and only him and I love that about them. (And let’s not talk that despise his fake persona Kim soleum actually ENJOYS to bully him specifically and also always saves him and gives him good items) (and then there is the whole agent grapes situation where bsh realises who he is but does NOT want to acknowledge is till the end and still tried to help him and give advice through the stupid paper boat (after waiting 6 months for an answer and then instantly replying ) and when Kim soleum came as himself to him for help in +350 so that he could draw cards for this weird candle he also instantly helped him and was lowkey worried about him and then in the last chapter he brought the remaining juice for the wish ticket even with his main trait being a selfish egoist)

I know that this ship is not as popular as others but for me, I love the dynamic between them cause the show each other a side of themself nobody knows about.
