found a moment of peace amid academic stress to do some art :)

feed him, push treats into his mouth and close his jaw for him, or push his face into his dog bowl until he's full. hold a glass to his lips.

put him in the tub and fill it with bubbles, wash his body, and kiss his shoulders while I clean behind his floppy doggy ears. every time he tries to do something himself, i gently scold him or smack his face just hard enough to remind him he's a pet, not a person.

keep him in a fluffy sweater, his ears and tail, a collar and leashed, always held in my hand or tied to my belt.
