Summary: When Charlie washes up on the shores of Lake Michigan, two years into the future no less, she heads for the nearest source of possible answers she can think of. She didn't plan on meeting a gorgeous yoga teacher there, but she isn't about to question her luck. The town actually has a missing person problem, but it started before Charlie arrived, so it couldn't be connected. Right?

This is the tentative schedule I’m looking at right now. Since a few people mentioned not being as far along as they would’ve liked in their drafts, I’m looking at pushing posting back towards September. As September gets closer, that date might get pushed back further depending on people’s needs, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

For the May 4th rough draft check in, just send me what you’ve got. Don’t worry about having a certain % done. 

What you do need to do: 

Send the email to [email protected] (this one, since my ex-co mod somehow locked me out of the original email). If it’s a google doc, send me the view link.

Tell me the current word count you’re at

and also tell me your estimated final word count.

Again, this is just so I can get an idea of how far every one is. Artists, I’ll be asking for rough drafts from you later, or confirmation that you’ve gotten some work on your pieces done, or at least planned out. 

Sorry it’s been quiet on this end for a while. The second mod deactivated their tumblr account suddenly and I have not been able to get in touch with them. I know we’ve fallen behind schedule on our end as moderators--rough drafts were supposed to be due March 31, but I’m going to try and get a hand on things. I’ll look at the schedule and work on updating it--till then, just keep doing what you’re doing. 

They are due February 1st - February 3rd. Though if you already have it ready, you don’t need to wait and can go ahead and submit yours. You will need to send an email to [email protected].

This may be a rough outline but you must include the following:

Yes, there is a penalty for dropping out after artist claims without an extenuating circumstances (nota bene: this applies to both authors and artists). Please do not claim a fic if you are not 100% sure that you are able to complete the artwork for it. Dropping out after claims will most likely result in a ban from future editions of this bang, barring extenuating circumstances.

I can speak from personal experience as having to deal with a partner that dropped out post claims as both an artist and author. It is not fair to the partner and especially if it is super late, there is no guarantee that a replacement could be found in time (for an artist. Which even for artists, there is no guarantee someone would be willing to pinch hit, especially if there is a shortage of artists. If the author drops out then basically all the work the artist did was for naught.)
