I do think Shen Jiu would prefer to dress very feminine normally, but I also think he would specifically enjoy cross dressing (ie dressing and acting feminine with the intent to pass as a regular woman, this is a distinct practice from drag and feminine fashion) and going on dates with Yue Qi, watching the public bend to treat an important lady like a princess. Yue Qi doesn’t understand the appeal because Xiao Jiu doesn’t act or even look that different while cross dressing, but he’s happy so long as Xiao Jiu gets what he wants ❤️
