so i gained 12kgs in a year on the pill and like idk some how didn’t realise it?? like i was wearing my work trousers and they’d be so tight and uncomfortable and i couldn’t understand why? had a blast on holiday but someone from z’s family asked if i was expecting and i was so so embarrassed and upset? then we went to like a science museum and wow that was a wake up call cos i went on the scale for funsies and genuinely went wtf and got off immediately when i realised how big i’d gotten

bare in mind, i was v chubby in my teens and worked hard and unfortunately ate little trying to lose it, eventually by the time i got to uni, i’d lost the weight but gained the body dysmorphia! so fun :))

Anyways, post holiday, i came off the pill, was extremely distressed by my weight gain cos it felt like such a hurdle to overcome and spent the last 6 months exercising & eating healthier to get it back on track and i’m finally finally out of my plateau , i’m like 2-3kg off from my ideal weight but i still feel kinda skinny fat but so glad with the progress

i had so many trousers for work i couldnt wear for the past year and they finally fit again, like the ones i wore today straight up couldnt zip last year this time and now i can wear them again, its a v stupid thing but in my mind it’s a big accomplishment to get back to a healthier place
