“I wasn’t really planning on SELLING them but the t-shirt idea might be good for a charity event,” Gwen nodded in response, letting out a small giggle. “You know, save the city in more ways than one?” she shrugged her shoulders, looking him over, lips pursed together. “Oh, right,” she’d almost FORGOTTEN there was a person underneath the mask. “You know, I can finish the rest of the walk home ALONE if you need to be somewhere else–”

“I legit heard that  someone  named Peter has an adorable smile. Kill my curiosity and point me in the direction of said Peter so I can admire his smile too?”

Gwen let out a small laugh, shaking her head in response. “I WOULDN’T–” she assured him, shrugging her shoulders. If anything, her youngest brother would probably be the ONLY ONE who’d see the picture apart from her. “Well, I mean I guess not everyone’s your biggest fan?” she offered softly, a shrug of her shoulders. “I don’t know if ANYBODY really believes what he talks about considering almost everyone thinks that you’re a HERO,” she added softly, smiling. “At least, I sure think so–” she mumbled before clearing her throat. “I– I’m not keeping you from your, you know, JOB, am I?”

“I  literally  am confused by this statement, Gwendy. What’s ahead of me is something my uncle would’ve wanted me to achieve. Is it  not  better  to avenge him that way?  Or do I have to put on dark spandex and a cape and brood and bash criminal heads in while you sleep?”

      FELICIA IS STOPPED IN HER TRACKS BY THE costumed hero and she stutters to a halt. there’s a soft whine and she looks around him at the fire tearing through the chemistry lab. she had just seen peter heading in this direction and he’d disappeared. how could spider-man even try to tell her he was fine, that he wasn’t in the pile of burning ruble. a frustrated whine escapes her and she tries her best to side step the man, knowing that it’s going to be a failed attempt… but at least she can try. “i saw him head this way. he didn’t come back. he’s gotta be in there and you’ve gotta get him out. please. if you don’t, i’ll go get him myself.” okay, so maybe rushing headfirst into a burning building wouldn’t really be her course of action. but still she could threaten it. “how the hell did you get here so fast, anyways? did you start it?”

Explanation: This verse can be set post-PS4 game story, and is also intended as my idea of what Mephisto could’ve done for Peter other than what conspired in the One More Day storyline.  As well, Peter has never been a symbiote host in this au.

In this verse, Peter is taken over by an unhinged spirit that represents the vengeance he holds back. He’s still pretty docile around his friends, family, and lovers, but he’s nothing if not bothersome in how different he’ll seem when talking about his rogues and the miscellaneous thugs of Manhattan. He’s a relentless bruiser, so expect him to not play nice.  In fact, expect the worst that he could do when not pulling his punches. Throughout this month, this’ll be a limited au focusing on Peter Parker doing what I imagine he might do with a demon bending his will. His suit will change, and further down the road his powers, abilities will temporarily enhance, making him seem like an entirely different arachnid themed crusader. And one with a more malicious agenda that may or may or not involve murder, I’m debating it with myself if that’s good development.
