I just can't into the Sims 4 but isn't the new pack supposed to be about fairies or something

#ngl I find it kind of questionable to release a new pack for every new occult type #like I remember TS3 EPs also came with at least one new type per pack #but it wasn't like #the MAIN point of the pack #well except Supernatural which came with three new types #plus a whole bunch of other stuff as well #but EA is gonna keep EAing #ask #ts4 critical

No worries, I'm still around, just took a looooooong break from TS3 after my legacy neighbourhood started randomly crashing on me lol. I'm back now though, so hopefully I can at least update some of my existing mods in the near future (also there are like 10 unfinished ones that I still want to work on, it's just that life gets in the way sometimes…)

Hei, sorry to bother ya, but I've encounter a problem with your minor pet hunting and gathering mod. Sims 3 seems to crash when it is in, once I remove it, game runs stable 60 fps 3 irl days. Does this mod conflict with anything? I only have nraas fixes.

Hey there, sorry for the SUPER late reply, I've just been on a longer break from TS3 and modding. Generally, the mod should not conflict with any nraas mods as far as I'm aware (all it really does is add some new interactions to Sims, minor pets and the terrain … so if there are lags/crashes caused by it, I imagine they would either happen right after loading up the game or when the game spawns a lot of Sims or minor pets at once).

You could try disabling autonomous minor pet hunting in the tuning XML in case that's what's causing the issues for you (you'll need S3PE to open the package, there is an XML file called "spherefish_MinorPetHunting.PetHunt" in there where you can adjust some stuff … or just delete the "spherefish_MinorPetHunting.PetHunt.AutoMinorPetHunting" ITUN file from the package).

That said, any CC can impact the game's performance and this mod is no exception (plus it was the first "real" mod I made, so there's quite a bit of spaghetti coding in there 😅). I do plan a larger update for it in the future but that will likely require rewriting the whole thing from scratch, so it might take a while.
