lack of communication. ignoring things that bother you to avoid confrontation and telling yourself that they’ll change or get better naturally without ever addressing it. fear of being vulnerable. believing that love alone is enough to make a relationship work. inconsistency. lack of trust. lack of support. lack of respect. lack of dedication. lack of natural chemistry. not listening to each other. misunderstanding how a healthy relationship actually works. only believing that love is a feeling, but not actively choosing to love your partner everyday, especially when things get hard. too much pride. self-issues or insecurities that get in the way of being a wholesome partner. one person carrying all the responsibility. projecting (and only liking/loving) the idea of who you want your partner to be instead of seeing them (and liking/loving them) for who they actually are. one or both using each other for superficial needs or the fear of being alone. pushing the other to lower their expectations from life or their needs/expectations from the relationship. not wanting to see the other person grow, not cheering your partner on, not helping them progress in life, not wanting the best for them. making them the main character in your own life, losing yourself, and completely ignoring your own aspirations and needs. dealbreakers/not looking into the future and checking if both your lives, careers, goals, dreams, family ideals, and morals work together successfully. not enough love, fun, laughter, sweetness, and understanding.
