Jeffrey Dahmer, Dennis Nilsen, and Armin Meiwes pulled off something that was straight-up beyond what anyone else could ever manage. They broke the law and by doing that they pushed past the limits of reality and created some surreal moments. That made them unreachable and impossible to repeat, and that’s exactly why no one will ever really understand them or the great, aesthetic thing they did.
