This was the one and only order she would be reasonable to follow, if given from his throat. 

Despite the care he had taken not to claw her, the swipe he’d taken at her face smarted.  She ignored it, however, swallowing thickly as the last shreds of apprehension evaporated.

A huff, the large feline throwing himself down on the floor as he waited for the blood elf to say something, merely ignoring the sound of her heart before she started to speak. His eyes gluing themselves to her face as her question was spoken, a bitter laugh escaping his throat (at least it could be described as a laugh...)

"If I was to deny, then I would be breaking my own laws now wouldn't I?" he spoke, forcing his body to his feet once again before moving closer, tail curling in the air before he turned away, putting his back to the huntress, "Just where would I be going this time, Blood elf?" He demanded, sure he was stuck with her, but that didn't mean he wasn't able to throw a hissy fit or two when he wanted to. After all, Loque hadn't even bothered to learn her name. It was only a matter of time after all.

"This all sounds very far-fetched," Balmung replied. It was the only thing he could think of that he could say, wrapping his brain around the situation was akin to trying to grasp a water balloon tightly in the real world; if he tried too hard, the fragility of it would shatter, but too light a grip would allow it to fall. For now, all he could do was sit back and drink in what the bird was saying.

Without hesitation, the winged knight took the bird’s talons regardless of earlier fear; this did not seem like an opponent in battle. The way they spoke and the extensive vocabulary was more than enough for him to realize this was not an ordinary situation, and that he could possibly learn something from it. “I had a feeling the two of you were similar,” he continued, “there is just an air about your being that speaks volumes of what you remain quiet about.”

"What you felt, it is something all feel when in the presence of one who may as well have lived eons. It is our auras, there are several others, ten, to be exact, that you have not met. If you come across them, you will be able to recognize them." He explained, motioning with a wing to the area in front of them, "We all have a very similar aura, while our appearances are very drastically changed. I do have a word of caution however." A pause as he turned his head to look at Balmungs face once again.

"There is a wolf, who answers to the name of Karoma, When you are in his presence, you are not to let down your guard. He is a violent creature, he will attack without warning, and will not stop until his prey has been stripped of its life." Ban'thalos said, folding his wings once he finished talking against his sides. 

"Some of us do not have the time for observation," he replied, "many merely continue while they can, in a constant race to see who would obtain most before leaving forever." Frown turned to smile as he continued. "I was one of those previously, but I am changing. This World has much to offer, and I wish to take full advantage of that."

"How I mourn, like my natural home, I do not stray from the land I have found to be comfortable after my talons have connected." He said, adjusting his weight to loosen his grip on the shoulder pad, resuming his speech only seconds later, "If the land is one that is mobile, so be it. I will follow it with loyalty that would overwhelm even a huntress and her companions." He explained, balancing his weight on one foot to hold out the other to Balmung's hand.

Here was a beast who none would ever claim, try as they might.  One was worthy of his time, or they were not, and that was as simple as it was.  He was bound by nothing but his own pride and will.  She respected that, and she feared it.  She dipped her head now, a show of reverence.

❝I have come for no such reason,❞ she assured.  Ha!  As if she’d dare attack this creature with such a purpose.  Though she knew he would not attack her unless she struck the first blow, the fact did nothing to offer confidence.  Her heart was racing, and she knew he knew it.

The growl was nothing short of irritation, tail flicking in front of him before he pushed himself back to his paws, stalking closer to the huntress when she lowered her head, despite what the display was, it annoyed him to no end. His eyes narrowing silently before he batted at the side of her face, making sure his claws were sheathed. 

"If you're going to talk to me, then look at me. Not the ground, blood elf." He hissed, black tipped ears pinned back as he noticed the hammering of her heart against her rib cage, and despite just how much he wanted to ignore her and return to bathing himself (he'd been in the middle of it when she arrived, so he still had crimson around his paws and chest from the Longneck Grazer he'd attacked)

"Even if I refused your request of hearing you out. You would still speak, knowing full well what laws bind me to you, as well as my own laws that I have never strayed from." He said, finally lowering his head a bit, and sitting back on his haunches. 

"Some of us are not as observant as we used to be," the knight chided, closing his eyes contently, lips pursed a bit as the creature flapped up, maintaining airspace above his head, as if taunting him. He could feel some of the spectral wind rushing at his hair, sending wisps of emerald past his face. "Many lack the same eyes you have."

"Yes, I know of that fact. But have you not heard of the wise old bird?" He cooed, shifting how he was perched before continuing, "While, it may not seem all that relevant, it is very important. 'A wise old owl lived in an oak, the more he saw the less he spoke, the less he spoke the more he heard. Why can't we all be like that wise old bird?' -" A pause to turn his head towards the Admin's face, and decided to continue.

"The power of observation, it's a very important thing. After all, where I'm from, not keeping an eye on your surroundings, will render you burned to a crisp by the creatures roaming." Once again, the strange laughter echoed from the motionless bird, his head tilting slightly.

Except when he landed, where wood savings seemed to rain upon him. It wasn’t his fault he decided to stand under this tree, and this was certainly not programmed… Could it have been a glitch? Surely not, as the wood chips were still falling from his silvery hair.

Once again, he cooed. Head tilting momentarily to one side before he spoke, "How stunning, you couldn't even see me, even though I'm as easy to see as a tree in the middle of flat plains." Whether his tone was teasing or not, who knew. It had that strange vibration to it that prompted to owl to hopping off the Admin's head. Rather hovering a foot or so away, the green trails appearing once again under his wings with each motion.

Loque'Nahak simply turned his head away, glancing around at the surrounding area with interest before returning his attention to Balmung at the question. Of course, his answer was silence for a few seconds as he attempted to remember just where his home was, "... It, is long gone." The feline said after some thought, returning his gaze to the admin's face. 

Leaning back to look up, the man noticed something strange.

He recognized this beast somewhat. Balmung acknowledged there were other popular web games besides The World, and this may very well be a relic from it. However, he’d need to act with caution and a strong will; if this was indeed the case, the knight would need all he could muster.

"Jump off that ridge, and you will land in the lake, it is large enough for a two legged bullvine to swim within, it should be deep enough for a human such as yourself to land without any damage." His words were punctuated with a simple smack of a paw on the hard ground below him.

"From there, you should encounter someone who could give you a ride out of here, though my knowledge may be out of date. As I have not ventured down there in some time. The Orc may be long dead by now in the surrounding wilderness." He sighed, shaking his head momentarily before standing himself back up.
