The Kill || Shay and Leroy || V8 W3 || Friday Morning
Shay laughed at his remark and turned to look at him from behind a pillar with a snicker plastered on her face. “I should probably be offended by that, but I’m not really. When you’ve gone through some of the things that I have, you learn a few things.” She replied, now grinning deviously at him.
“And why the hell would I come out and play nice, hmm? You haven’t played very fair to start with. I mean, shooting an arrow at me when I wasn’t even paying attention? How rude.” Her grin widened a bit as she thought of the various ways to kill him and send a message to the Hunters. There was still one way Shay hadn’t tried yet and it had been on her list for a while now.
But not yet. Maybe she could get some information out of him still. He hadn’t given up much yet, but there was still time. If she chose her words right or attacked his ego, then maybe he’d give up something good to pass along to Jenny and Micah.
“Coulda just off’d ya while you weren’t payin’ me a lick’a attention,” Leroy reminded her. “Figured that be more rude.” It would be rude, efficient, and no fun. It’d been a while since he’d had a jolt like this, where there was actually the possibility of danger from one of the Evos.
Leroy changed his direction, and ventured out into the open area of the warehouse. No doubt she knew the area, she was smart, he’d give her that. “So, what’s the story here? This where y’all plan your lil rallies? Practice your abilities?” He asked, level, eyes darting around the room.
