this is all on one large mountain, the individual hills and mountains are just areas of higher ground.
sparkleclan of course took up a crystal cave near the moonpool in a sharp rocky hill that was, apparently, completely empty. no one has ever lived there, as far as anycat knows. the territory is mountainous, with barren rocky areas near the camp and lush pine forests below. the cats mostly live on birds and mountain rodents. as such a new clan, it still must form an identity of its own.
to the east of sparkleclan territory is coldclan, who live in the highest elevation where it snows most of the year. as a result, these cats are very hardy and strong, and mostly longhair with thick coats. similar to sparkleclan these cats live on birds, as well as arctic hares and marmots. they take pride in their resilience. they live in a cliffside, under a rocky outcropping that keeps the camp protected from snow.
in the middle lives flowerclan. as the name implies their territory is a plain full of small hills and wildflowers. the prey here such as rabbits and mice are plentiful, and the cats are relatively relaxed and carefree. as they are surrounded on all sides by other clans they keep their camp in a gorge mostly contained by rocks with only one way to enter. they are also very peaceful but protect themselves when needed; such as a part of their territory often laid claim upon by beachclan.
woodclan is a clan that lives deep within the dark pine forest, covered in a dense shade. these cats tend to have a very keen sense of smell and hearing to make up for the darkness and mostly prey on various woodland animals. they live in a forest clearing reinforced by thorny bushes held in place by the trees. they are secretive but not overly aggressive.
beachclan is an island clan in the sea at the base of the mountain, which consists of most of their territory. they mostly prey on fish and aquatic prey, and enjoy the beach. they all know how to swim since the only way to reach the mainland is swimming a small distance to the shore. they, like flowerclan, are hardly food insecure but are very cocky and brave. they also enjoy catching the mice that lives in the huge decaying ship, or sea monster as the cats call it. they aren't afraid to claim superiority, and wants to take a territory from flowerclan because they feel they are entitled to all beach areas, including off their island.
clawclan is a group of street cats that live by the twolegplace in an old abandoned twoleg structure. they are a bit informal compared to the others, and are more like bloodclan from the books than a real clan. they have the structure of one, but are not opposed to breaking the code and using underhanded tactics. they're aggressive to a fault, and scrape their claws against the stone floor of their camp to try to sharpen them as much as they can. they mostly eat mice and rats that live in and around the twoleg building.
the freezelands is a large lake that is almost always frozen. because of the danger of falling in, cats usually avoid trying to walk on it, and it is not claimed by either sparkleclan or coldclan. however, when it does thaw in greenleaf cats may come to fish sometimes.
the moonpool is on top of the moonpool hill. it is secluded and surrounded by trees, only visible to cats who climb up there.
the thunderpath and thunderbridge are, you guessed it, a thunderpath that cuts the territories in two and the bridge that allows monsters to pass over the river. the thunderbridge is unfortunately the only way to cross to the moonpool for some clans, but cats will walk on the railing of the bridge to not risk getting hit. it benefits sparkleclan as well, making it difficult to invade by a large group at once.
pawstep island is where the clans meet for their gathering. there is a large hill in the center where leaders sit, with the other cats at the foot of the hill.
cats are allowed to travel within three fox lengths of thunderpaths and rivers through other territories if necessary, but they'll usually be questioned by other clans even if they can't be outright attacked.
