Workout Schedule this week
Monday: After school
Tuesday: After school
Thursday: After school
Hopefully Sunday. I have a very busy weekend this coming weekend, but Iâm really going to try.
Why, Hello!
I honestly cannot believe that I still have so many followers on here. Thank you for not giving up on me.
For those of you who donât know, Iâve been through a lot in the last few years and I wonât bore you all with it, but my fitness has fallen by the wayside.
Well, no longer. I bought a cute new gym bag today and I want to get back to running and working out.
Iâm going to start by putting my workout schedules on here to hold myself accountable.
I also got a fitbit, so anyone who wants my name on there, just send me an ask and Iâm happy to provide it.
Iâm really, really, really back, guys. I mean it this time.
NestlĂŠ, a multi-national company valued at $247 billion dollars, gets itâs bottled water from Lake Michigan FOR FREE. Thatâs 400 gallons of water per minute, for the low low price of completely free. Even worse, NestlĂŠ receives a $13 million dollar tax break from the state of Michigan. Worse still, NestlĂŠ recently took legal action against Flint residents for making âdisparaging commentsâ about the company.
Meanwhile, the disproportionately Black residents of Flint are still being charged for POISONED drinking waterâŚthat they cannot drink, cook or bathe with. Not only that, but the residents of Flint are paying among the highest water bills in the country. (source)
So again, exactly when will Rick Snyder and his Emergency City Manager be arrested for crimes against humanity?

Today, I got my gym location changed so that I can actually begin going! Yay! I have a class schedule and Iâm going to start for real.
PLUS- I am going to start Crush 60 again! I am so pumped! :)
You know you have a food addiction when...
-You try your best to eat normal meals, and tell yourself you wonât snack, but then out of nowhere you realize youâre in the cabinet snacking on something like cereal without meaning to.
-You wait until thereâs no one around and then sneak over to the fridge/cabinet to get food, even when youâre not hungry.
-You spend an hour before bedtime trying to think of a way to sneak a snack food into your room so no one will see you eat it - again when youâre not even hungry.
-You see other peopleâs leftovers on their plates while cleaning up after a meal and feel a strong NEED to finish said food - even when youâre not hungry.
-You justify your snacking by telling yourself that youâre âfueling your body because itâs hungryâ or something silly like that but itâs really just head hunger and you pretend you donât know better.
-You try so hard to change your eating habits, eat better, etc. but you find yourself eating until it hurts, and even after it hurts.
-You canât have any snack foods around because no matter how much you preach âmoderationâ to yourself or others, when you know itâs there, you feel an obligation and a physical NEED to eat it.
Sometimes I feel like a lot of the fitblr/healthblr/whatever community really pushes issues like food addiction to the back, in a shameful little corner. Itâs something people donât want to admit to. Itâs a form of an eating disorder and I feel like we need to draw more attention to it, because honestly all I ever see are motivational posts like âitâs okay to eat. Itâs good to fuel your bodyâ and while YES THIS IS ABSOLUTELY 100% TRUE, itâs hard for someone with a food addiction to see ONLY that, because itâs almost like a justification for the disorder.
Food addiction is a real disorder just like anorexia or bulimia. Itâs something I deal with every single day, every single hour, every single MINUTE. Itâs a constant struggle with my own mind. Even after having a life changing surgery like gastric bypass, 9 months later and 100+ lbs down and it still hasnât gone away. And I just wanted to take a moment to bring light to it, to admit my problem, and hopefully encourage others to know they arenât alone in this battle (like how I feel 99% of the time).
Just remember, We are stronger than our addiction, and even if you canât win every battle, you can win this war! đŞđźđ

I get sad and confused when I interact with some Americans online, the older ones in particular, after a short while they start to go off topic and go uber patriotic and try to take at swipe at me, out of the blue, because Iâm British.
I get weird comments, talking about a war I was never at, that my ancestors were never at (according to records) and were never asked their opinion about due to their low standing.
Yes of course I understand the context, but Iâm I supposed to apologise? Grovel? Iâm on a group discussing recipes using sweet potatoes and then I get a âno taxation without representationâ âŚ.. Iâm not embarrassed, I just find it weird and I feel awkward for them.
Iâm glad youâre patriotic, go freedom, Eagles and things, but can your get your old people to stop being weird please?
Oh, if only I could...
