For his family to renew a restraining is down right shocking. It's never going to solve the problems with sam. Pitchfork and others see that behavior. They see the fascist records and his mean posts because no ads for the new album. His parents are ruining his life on top of his real issues.

You and Sam were not living together after Olympia in fall winter 2013. You have no kids together. Restraining orders help when there is a LONG pattern of abuse-- when subjects know each other for long periods of time.You basically knew each other for 1 year in Olympia and were on tour in the public eye.You guys have no long history of trauma over the years. No reason to file a restraining order over a bad break up when you were a young college girl. His parent's attorney just wanted the MONEY.
