Meet Maple and Clover!

Shortly, they're avians, who live in nomadic tribes and hide their existence from other folk.

Maple is a barn swallow avian. She's an active explorer, who takes great care of her tribe by exploring the area, finding places for migration and gathering foods. Sometimes she watches after kids.

Clover is a white wagtail avian. She's a tailor, who makes all the clothes and other things that require sewing. Unlike Maple she prefers to stay at home. She's very creative, yet careful and a bit squeamish. She's an older sister figure for Maple. She grew up looking up to Clover. She often asks her for advices as she trusts her experience. Especially in relationships and traditions.

I've had the avian oc-s for a while but their plot had barely moved since their creation.

Until the recent time when I changed one thing about their lore and got so many more ideas.

And now I see all your wonderful attacks on her

FINALLY

JULY IS SO SOON!!!

Emberiza citrinella is Yellowhammer! Their song is really nice. It reminds me of tiny tiny bells. Also, fun fact. Yellowhammer in Russian is овсянка (ovsyanka), which means oatmeal!

While we're talking about food. Common rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus) in Russian is чечевица (chechevitsa). It's lentil! :'3 I like their song a lot! It has lentil vibes. I won't explain, my logic works in weird ways. I noticed that local rosefinches don't sing the final syllable, which I saw in many mnemonic techniques for remembering their song.

Ficedula hypoleuca or European pied flycatcher. They had a nest in a tree hollow right in front of my window. I could see the male regularly tending to the nest. Besides bringing food to the chicks he chased off thrushes, tits and squirrels. I haven't noticed the female though. But I wasn't watching them 24/7 so eh. These birds actually have really complicated relationships. I've read about occasions, in which single males fed the chicks of an unrelated couple of birds. Also, males can have up to 7 morphs! From the grey brownish female like one to the almost black!

It's an art for the song - Кровь Эльфов (Elven Blood)

Here, Deimos with his dragon companion Sky explains why he invaded the elven kingdom Enia. He did it because his own world became unsuitable for living and his people needed a new home. The artifact of the elven kings can help him open a portal for them but to use it he should either become a king of Enia or spill elven blood on it in a special ritual.

Deimos gives princess Alatiel a choice. She can either marry him and stay alive or he'll kill her and use her blood in the ritual. The princess chooses death.
