I’m doing this poll out of genuine curiosity since I’m new to the Critical Role fandom.

As someone who’s only watched the animated series of TMN and TLOVM, my opinion is rudimentary but maybe it could be interesting lol. So far, my favorite team is The Mighty Nein. I really like that we get to see the members as individuals before they become a team. I’ve always liked wondering what dynamics will surface such as who would get along or clash. I’m also a sucker for the found family trope.

I do like Vox Machina, yet I initially had trouble connecting with the characters in comparison to TMN. Maybe it’s because the episodes are shorter or they started out as a team, which made it personally more difficult. There are dynamics I enjoy like Pike and Grog, as well as Percy and Vex. It’s possible my opinion could change after I finish the remaining episodes (I’m over halfway through S2).

Other than the characters, I don’t know anything about Bells Hells. Their designs look very cool, especially Laudna because she gives off Addams Family and Nightmare Before Christmas vibes. Maybe I’ll watch it if the previous campaigns aren’t super connected to it.

amy is actually trusting and hopeful to a fault

shes been alone her whole life but then

we hear that she has at least attempted to reach out to others in the past. i think the assumption we are supposed to make here is that they all either left her or died, probably while trying to protect her

she says hope only leads to despair but on some level i dont think she actually believes this.

she is so quick to decide to go with raphael, not questioning for a second if this adult man would hurt her the same way the adult men of the slums have been her whole life. she is known to be this paranoid and untrusting person but has a pattern of latching onto p much anyone who treats her well, raphael, past adults, and then even later in life Z.W.E.I. after she loses her memories

for this reason, i dont think she actually believes that hope only brings disappointment, i think its something she says aloud as an attempt to convince herself of it

amy is not closed off, shes actually just incredibly lonely and desires human connection more than anything else

This is my submission for the Soulcalibur community's bimonthly art prompt, "Comfort." As I scrolled through Aeon pictures for inspiration, I was reminded of this SCIII concept art where he has what appears to be a Spartan plume on his shoulder. That gave me the idea of Aeon finding an old Spartan helmet, and even though he doesn't truly remember what it once meant to him, it subconsciously brings him a sense of belonging.

His design is a hybrid of SCV and SCVI, because I like the SCV color palette but wanted to keep him full lizard. I was really unsure about the shadows, so I included an alternate version and a flat color version beneath the cut.
