Please help out Mohammed and Farah and spread their story. They are a Palestinian couple expecting their first baby. Farah has a bullet lodged in her chest from an attack while she was buying clothes for the baby, even as she is pregnant and the baby is due sometime this October.

Death and shelling and casualties everywhere, and the mutilated bodies of children, and the evacuation and destruction of homes and the displacement of entire residential areas. Reconnaissance and combat aircraft and helicopters all the time, and targets in the streets and markets and the expansion of control zones.

Feelings of fear and anxiety.. and the terror of children returned quickly, after we had at least been in some kind of safety and calm, believing that all this had passed and ended.

All of this happens in silence, without announcement, without labels of "military operations" or "return of war," without statements.. and quietly.. without intervention or attempts or statements or pressures.

And thus we are left alone.. abandoned, being slaughtered, and the scene itself not even broadcast on screens because there are things more important.

It's been 3 days since I posted about Ahmed's dad needing surgery. Since then, we have only raised $10 to go towards the cost.

A friend helped me make these slides to post. If you cannot donate, please consider downloading them and post them to your socials to help with reach. We only have 6 days left to raise the remaining $750.

We have $750 left, and only 3 days left to raise that.

Most of the reblogs have been me queueing this post. There are others who have shared, and to them I am thankful. But it seems out reach has become even worse. We haven't been able to reach anyone who could donate, and if we have those people with the ability to simply do not care enough to help.

If you can donate, please do something. Don't think someone else will donate instead of you, because these last few days have certainly proved they won't.

We only have 2 days left, so I sincerely doubt we will make the deadline on time. The surgery will most likely have to be rescheduled. But if we can get donations going, hopefully that can help us meet the adjusted deadline if the surgery is postponed.
