Anyhow - just read this article on “cool bars” and wondering how to improve this strange cultural occurrence.  Early 20-somethings seem to follow the rite of passage property and take the abuse, but then later it definitely doesn’t make sense - which is why I believe people search for “my bar”, or “our bar”, etc.  Been in this situation dozens of times and probably created it just as many.  Definitely appreciate the notion 20 min of bar conversation is equal to 1 min of restaurant conversation.
