A brand new Sonic spin-off movie is coming on December 22, 2028. This is likely the long rumored Shadow spin-off movie.

Also, happy December! This month, Sonic 3 will turn 1 year old. Wow! Time files so fast.

The untitled Sonic spin-off movie is referred as an “Event” like Knuckles which sold hinted that the movie will be a Shadow movie. Maybe, we could see Shadow teaming up with Randall with Knuckles and Wade? Or maybe with Rouge and Agent Stone?

So, the concept modeler who did the models for Sonic 3 is returning to work on Sonic 4. He worked on the models for movies filming in the UK including Sonic 3 which took place in London. So, I guess this means they will be filming in the UK again instead of Vancouver?

We only have 3 months of this year left! We still don't know much about Sonic 4 yet. However, we know that Jeff and the others are pretty much working very hard on what they will show for the next movie.

Recently Colleen (Tails) was asked about Sonic 4 at West Tennessee Comic Con. She said that they just started working on the script and she think it might start filming early next year or sometime later next year. Tim Miller said he have saw some early concept art earlier this year according to an interview back on May. I listed anything we know so far about Sonic 4 so far in this list that I created not too long ago. Rumor is that they did some test filming in Vancouver. I randomly found this Facebook post about some Sonic filming in Ladysmith which the first movie was filmed there. It could be related to the rumored February filming that was listed on Production List earlier this year. Also, the writers seem to be open to Jim coming back in Sonic 4.

Just check out the list of movies that will be coming on March 2027 when Sonic 4 is out on. There is an animated movie from Sony that will be coming out before Sonic 4 is out. I heard this animated movie is about talking plants.
