Taking A Break
So, this has probably been obvious for while, just wanted to let everyone know what's going on!
For the past few months I've just been... pretty out of it, really. Can't stay alert, can't focus, it's been all I can do to get my Daily Sketches out. I've been trying to prod myself into getting back up to odding blogs, staying connected on Discord, and so on, but all that's been ending up happening is beating myself up over not being able to. Overwhelmed by outside factors and not really able to commit much to online stuff, however much I want to. I'm sure I'm not alone there.
So - I'm just taking a break from social media until the first of the year, putting side blogs on hiatus and just checking Discord for important communications.
I'll still be doing my Midori sketches on @starlitskvaderart, and if I manage to make any more art I'll be posting it there.
I'll start queueing for @madeinmobius again on January 1st, and will post toward the end of December to get nominations for a Featured Character for January.
@sonic-oc-showdown will have entries open until January 1; I'll post more there after the first for organization purposes and starting to FINALLY get it up and running.
@roninversary-brawl will have its song tournament sometime after the first, with Fan Character Of The Month likely resuming in February.

Hey there! I sent an ask a while ago, but it never got answered, so I'm asking again, just in case it got buried or eaten. If we submitted a ship for the showcase, can we request to have it switched into the main tournament? I submitted my ship to the showcase because I was scared I wouldn't have time for the full tournament, but I think now I'd have time. If not, I've got another ship I could submit to the tournament.

The tournaments will be combined. Each character may still only be entered once, so you will have to choose which ship to enter.

If the tournaments are combined, then seven more entries total will be accepted for a total of forty double-elimination slots; if they are kept separate, there will be two more allowed entries for OC x OC (for a bracket of sixteen) and twelve more for OC x Canon (for a total of 32), both single elimination.

Tournament Update!
Hello everyone! Thanks for bearing with me - I've had a really busy month!
There are still plenty of slots open in each tournament, so the start of the tournament is being postponed to get a few more in! Right now, we're moving out a month to September 17.
This week, though, I'll be starting a public spreadsheet to start sorting out the actual bracket. For now, it'll be just a listing of the ships and the owners of the characters involved, but as we get more in I'll start randomizing which ship goes up against which.
Look for the spreadsheet in the coming week, and be sure to get your entries in!

So far there are 17 confirmed for OC x Canon (just over half of available slots), and 10 for OC x OC (just under a third).
Will we be messaged to confirm our acceptance if we submitted a ship for the showcase?
Yes, once I go through and log the entry you will get a DM stating if they were accepted or if something needs to be edited/redone!
