elijah
beer bottle in his hand and looking down at the ground. elijah is a bit shaken by the most recent unfortunate event. things were happening all around seattle, it was one of the reasons he’d been deployed to this specific city. but this time, this tragedy affected someone he actually knew. sheriiff swan had helped him out plenty of times when he first started working. he can only imagine what he must be going through, not daring to think how he’d be feeling if it had one of his family members instead. “what kind of sick, twisted being could do something like that? the girl was known a bit around the city… although i’m not sure it had any relation to prior events it just… feels different.”
truth be told, august was unsure as to how he was supposed to feel. certainly he had never meet isabella swan, but he recognized how the death of someone so young was tragic. and he saw how it started to fit into the overall picture. or, well, so he thought. truthfully, he still wasn’t entirely sure what was going on- but what he did know was that there was something rotten in seattle. he wanted nothing more than to get out of town, but until he found nikki, he wasn’t going anywhere. so like he did many nights, august found himself sitting at a bar, a bottle of beer clutched in his hands as he feigned interest in whatever sports game was on the television. in reality he was listening to those around him, eavesdropping, trying to see if anyone had any idea as to what was going on. fortunately the male sitting next to him seemed to be somewhat aware, so raising his head he turned towards the other. “it’s horrible,” he mumbled, taking a sip of his beer, “there’s definitely something very wrong here,” he continued, hoping his vague, yet probative statement might prompt the other into saying more.
