I completely understand when people have gone through a similar experience you've gone through and they console you for it. But I kind of find it weird, and maybe even a bit annoying when people say "I get what you went through" or "I understand you" because I fully believe that they don't. I don't know, am I being conceited or haughty or condescending or what.
Been laying in bed for exactly 4 hours now while listening to my comfort music to help me sleep and to drown my brother's nightly talks with his "close friend". I can't sleep. Help. It's not the music. And for once it's not my brother. My mind and body is exhausted but I can't sleep for some reason.
Iβm.. living. But Iβm not doing okay.
So I've been attending this church for a few months now. It's been around 3 months and it honestly still feels strange. For context, I was born and raised in a christian church. My parents met and got married in the same church. The school I went to (kinder to high school) was established by the same church. Basically, currently over half of my life has been enclosed in the same bubble. And after a lot of heartaches, drama, betrayals and disappointments, I fully decided to part from this small bubble I once called family. This new church I've been attending is really really great. Their core values and principles align with mine so there's no issue in that area. I guess it's just the people, environment and culture that I'm struggling to adjust and adapt with. I find it difficult trusting and opening up to a very close and friendly community when the similar kind I tightly grew up with ended up letting me down big time. I don't know. It's a bizarre strange position to be in.
Anyone, do help me in coming up with ideas on what else to jot down here. Anything under the moon and sun.

Spent the day working out and refreshing my uke fingerstyle skills. I'm a huge fan of musical instruments. The more unique an instrument is, the more it piques and interests me. I know right now ukulele has become a much more common instrument but I love exploring more of it, hence fingerstyle. I like breaking the norm.
Again, I really don't know what I'm doing here or writing here. What I do know is I'm down for some daily random mumbo jumbo. If anyone out there ever sees this, do let me know what I can write about.
Sooooo I'm new to tumblr. I think I skipped this during my teen years because where I'm from, back then, other social were more prominent like myspace and friendster and facebook. I myself was more of a friendster and facebook kind of guy. I remember enjoying posting dumb and silly testimonies, or "testies" as we called it, on my friends's friendster wall just for the heck of it. The website was also cool because we had the option of customizing our profile by adding special effects and graphics in the background. I was (still am..) a geek so I had some random naruto animated graphics. And in facebook, man did I enjoy their old games with friends as well. Mafia Wars, Pet Society, and this game where everyone has this specific value and we have the option of buying them. I don't know, it was just such a free-spirited kind of era. I do miss it. It was a lot simpler as well, social media.
I'm not sure why I'm expounding on this haha as I've said, I'm totally new.
