    Where they’d normally expect at least a kick for being down to Yumeno’s height, there was instead a smile on the kid’s face and the doll continuing to laugh. The noise between the doll and the trumpet was unusual, but an idea surfaces that isn’t just endless toots. “Eh, eh,” is the only noise Dazai makes while this idea comes to them.

    There’s a little re-positioning - not a lot, their joints hurt from crouching - take in a proper breath before starting to PROPERLY play the instrument against the doll, curious how the laughter would sound.

    ….It sounds funny, within seconds they’re snickering and struggling to keep playing at all.

         It's   a   MIRACLE   that   Dazai   hadn't   been   kicked   by   now;   especially   given   the   sheer   number   of   chances   there   had   been.   There   actually   wasn't   even   a   single   violent   though   or   diabolical   scheme   to   inflict   any   harm   !   Instead,   the   child's   look   grows   CURIOUS   as   they   watch   the   other   readjust   themselves.   They're   FAR   too   focused   and   fascinated   on   the   shenanigans   caused   by   the   doll   and   the   trumpet;   eager   to   see   what   Dazai   -   san   would   do   now.

        A   breath   is   taken   and   ...   OH   !   Is   that   a   song   ?   It   sounds   like   ACTUAL   PLAYING   rather   than   that   mess   from   earlier.   But   the   doll   only   makes   it   sound   even   FUNNIER   and   soon,   they're   not   even   TRYING   to   hold   back   their   OWN   laughter   !   

“No… not every single art supply can just kill me.”

Brushes and rollers hurt, and strangely buckets and umbrellas. But crayons? That’s a blaster thing.
