You know, sometimes scenes just pop into my head and I worry myself.
Balance had never been something Jack was good at. He just never cared to get better at it, he supposed. He thought heād been better in high school, when heād had to skateboard around to get anywhere, and he certainly had core strength to keep him upright when he needed to. But being up on his toes was proving to be exceedingly difficult.
The young man arched his back, whimpering helplessly when the noose around his neck tightened. He let out another panicked cry as he tiptoed around in a circle, trying to find anything to help him out of the situation heād been caught in. He couldnāt breathe right.
Jack vaguely remembered storming out of his apartment in search of a drink. Heād been in a fight with someone. Davey? No, that didnāt sound right. He felt like Davey had been there, but it wasnāt him it was⦠Racer. The fifteen year old that was in his care. His brother. The boy was a spitfire, so stubborn it hurt. Jack was just as stubborn. Heād slammed the door as heād left, just needing something to take the edge off. He couldnāt remember if heād actually made it to a bar or not. All he could remember was waking up here, in this room that mustāve been some creepās basement. Jack could see the stairs. There were no windows. Jack could barely see the door at the top of the staircase, but when he had seen it the last time that door had been closed, heād seen the glint of too many different locks.
His head was pounding. When Jack had woken up, heād been so out of it, he couldnāt even lift his arms. Someone had been with him, forcing him to stand. Jack had still been barely able to hold himself up when heād been forced onto his toes. He couldnāt remember the manās face. All he could focus on was the pain.
His arms were wrenched behind him, turning an ugly shade of purple by now, thin ropes wrapped around his elbows and wrists. Heād been stripped down to his boxers. And a rope had been strung around his neck and pulled up to some kind of contraption on the ceiling that connected to a crank in the corner. Jack could see it. He just couldnāt reach it. He was getting dizzy and tired.
Heād tried to scream, but the rope dug into his neck enough to make it difficult. So he tried to get loose, himself. It was proving to be an impossible task. He tried not to focus on the table along the wall beside the crank. But he couldnāt help it as he dangled in the middle of the room, grunting and groaning as he tried to find better footing. He could see more rope, a whip, leather straps, a lighter and a few sex toys. Jack backed away from it as much as he could, as if he could get away at all.
When the door opened, Jack sucked in a breath, trying to twist out of the ropes and reach his hands around to his front, but someone began to speak immediately. āTurn around and face the wall.ā It was an order, almost like someone speaking to a misbehaved dog. Jack didnāt move at first. He stared up at the man, only able to make out a shadow. But he pulled out a small device, clicking it on. Jack saw a spark of blue. It was a taser. He paled. āNow!ā the man ordered.
āO-okay! Okay!ā Jack insisted, painfully turning around, standing high on the balls of his feet so he could continue to breathe. His legs were beginning to shake.
The many locks on the door were secured. Jack heard too many. Then footsteps made their way closer and closer to him. He tensed, swallowing hard. He was beginning to wheeze, a tear trailing down his cheek. The young man squeezed his eyes shut when he felt the man come to a stop directly behind him. He could feel the manās breath on his neck. āYouāre not gonna move unless youāre told, do you understand?ā Jack hesitated for only a moment, but flinched when a sharp voice cut through the small room. āWhen I ask you a question, you answer!ā
āY-yes!ā Jack insisted, hands curling into fists.
The man stepped even closer, their bodies touching. Jackās bound arms were against this manās chest. āGood. Now, youāre going to do as I say or youāll be punished. Anytime I give you an order, you will say āYes, sirā. Anytime I ask you a question, you will address me the same way. Understood?ā Jack scowled a little bit. He twisted his wrists around in the ropes. A chuckle escaped his captor. āI have to admit, I was hoping you fought a little,ā he said.
Jack didnāt like the sound of that.
The man didnāt elaborate. Instead, the taser that heād had in his hand sparked to life and he stepped away from Jack as the thing was pressed into his side.
Jack didnāt hear himself scream, but he felt his body go weak after a moment of white hot pain. Then, he couldnāt breathe. Heād lost his footing. He couldnāt push himself up again. He tried to scream. No sound came out of his mouth. In an instant, things were going black before an arm wrapped around his torso, forcing him up. Oxygen rushed to Jackās lungs fast and he couldnāt help but lean back against the man behind him as he was finally able to relax for a moment and just breathe. āLet this be a lesson, Jack,ā the man said. Jack moaned in fear. āYou can be good, and I can let you breathe⦠or I can let the asphyxiation kick in,ā the man threatened. āNo matter what you do down here, youāll be trapped. Even if you managed to get out of these ropes, there are three locks on the inside and seven on the outside of the door to your release. You wonāt be able to get out.ā
The young man gasped desperately for air, weakly pulling at his arms, hoping the ropes would magically fall away. āF-fuck, let me go!ā he cried, trying to push the man away.
But his captor stood firm, taking Jackās chin in his hand. āYou belong to me now, James Francis Kelly,ā he said. āEvery move you make is going to be because I allowed it. Every breath you breathe is by my mercy and every thought about the outside world will fall away eventually,ā he promised, holding his captive painfully still.
Fear crawled up in Jackās chest. He squirmed again, this time getting his neck grabbed onto. Jack clenched his jaw. āWh-why?ā he hissed, trying to let the anger overpower his terror. It wasnāt working. āWh-who are you?ā
The man let out an amused huff. āIām your new god,ā he whispered in Jackās ear. Then he pulled a tight leather strap over Jackās eyes and let go of him, forcing Jack to find his balance again with a terrified whimper. Jack tried to rub the blindfold on his shoulder, desperately trying to get it off. It got his hair grabbed and his head yanked back, forcing him to stumble back on his toes. āAre you trying to refuse my gift?ā the man scolded.
āYouāre fucking sick!ā Jack cried. āLet me go!ā
āDonāt worry, sweetheart. Youāll learn soon enough,ā the man assured.
Jack breathed hard, the noose feeling even tighter than before. āW-wait, please⦠I⦠Iām n-no one⦠cāmon, let me go, no one will even believe me i-if I say anything about this! J-just let me goā agh!ā A gag was pulled into his mouth, a metal bar forced between his teeth. He whined and yanked at the ropes again. He had to go home. His brother was still at home. And this man had his full name and address.
The man walked around him, circling him like prey. āDonāt worry,ā he hushed, running his hand over Jackās hip, making his jerk away. āLike I said⦠youāll learnā¦ā
Jack whimpered again, turning his head away from the man. But fear settled deep in his stomach. The man was so certain. Jack believed him.

Racetrack Higgins as Ian
Jack Kelly as Barley
This one breaks my heart a little bit. So these boys are living in a magical world that has evolved into modern society, dragons and cyclops and centaurs all live peacefully alongside each other.
Jack and Race are elves. They are brothers who couldnāt be more different. Jack is impulsive and questions authority without thought. See, in this land, magic has been outlawed for a century. Wizards and warlocks and witches are forced to hide their power or be arrested and kept out of the public eye for āsafetyā. But Jack loves magic and even practices it sometimes. Race has been told for years by teachers and peers and cops and everyone that his big brother is a screwup and, despite looking up to Jack for years, grows up to wish heād grown up with their mother who died just after Race was born.
The two of them are orphans, living with their adoptive father, Bryan, another elf.
On the morning of Raceās 16th birthday, he wakes up to Jack being escorted home by police after he tried staged a protest at one of the last historical magical properties in their town. Jack is insistent that they canāt tear down the old fountain, but it is scheduled to be torn down later that week. Jack has also been arrested for graffiti, public disruption and minor magic, which almost led to very serious consequences of being locked up for life.
Jack is twenty two now, still living at home as a delinquent, because he does not want to go to school and give up their motherās legacy of magic as he is convinced she was a witch.
Race is over Jack and just wants to have a normal life. He is a lonely kid. He doesnāt get bullied at school, but he certainly doesnāt have any friends. Bryan encourages him that morning to invite people over for cake and some games and Race just brushes her off and keeps his head low, although he does try to invite two of the more popular kids over, Albert and JoJo, but he gets too nervous and runs away, embarrassed.
Later, when Jack goes to pick him up from school, he takes Race up to his favorite spot, a lookout that looks over the entire city, and he tells Race he has something for him. Itās something he found when he was being taken from their home after their mother died. Race opens it to find a witches wand and a rare phoenix gem. There is a note that describes a way to bring their mother back for one day. Jack explains that heād tried the spell before, but it never worked. Race is upset at first, thinking Jack is playing a joke on him before he sees how frustrated his brother is. He then realizes that Jack devoted his life to magic because he was trying to find a way to see his mother one last time.
Race tries the spell, but before he can finish it, the cops find and try to arrest them, forcing Jack and Race to flea without completing the spell. All Race managed to do was begin the spell, bringing their motherās spirit close to them, a shiny orb that place in a crystal ball and carry with them while they try to find a way to bring her back completely.
The brothers are on the run to find another phoenix gem. So they rush to find a manticore who can help them find one of the last gems on earth.
Medda insists sheās retired, hanging out in a bar and drinking her sorrows away, but Jack steals a map off of her and takes Race to go find the gem anyway, not knowing the dangers ahead.
Together the brothers go through many twists and turns, involving Jack finding out how powerful his brother is the hard way, getting his voice taken away on accident, being turned into a statue, reliving the worst moment of his life, and almost losing Race when the boy lost faith in himself.
If youād like to hear more about this au, let me know!
Love the dynamic of two characters that, if one died, the other would dedicate their life to being good in honor of them, and if the other died, their counterpart would sell their soul to the devil to get them back.
Hey hun, just wanted to check up on you and congratulate you on the acting gig you have.
If you do come back to writing do you know if Youāll continue the top secret fic on ao3 I read it a couple days ago it was really good. And your boy meets world fic is amazing. Youāre one of the best racetrack writers Iāve ever come across.
Omg thank you! I got another gig. Iām off Broadway this spring š«£
Also⦠would you believe me if I told you Top Secret was updated a few days ago and is about to update AGAIN?!

A Hazbin Hotel AU revolving around the events of S02 where Lucifer was captured by Vox.
Though functionally, a collection of scenarios where Lucifer is at the mercy of the Vees. There're lots of whump so heed the warnings.
Plot-wise, it follows what happened in S02, though there will be some differences. Taking a freeform approach. There will [possibly] be diverging plotlines and posts won't be chronological. idk. I just wanna draw some Lucifer whump.
WARNINGS: Torture | Blood | Mutilation | Sexually Suggestive | Abuse | All 3 Vees suck.
Summary: Having captured Lucifer, the Vees decide to have a little fun and see what else they can get out of their powerful but helpless prey.

Jack passed the party planning torch this year. Well. Sort of. His little brother wanted to host this year so Jack let him. And then he staged a fight with his boyfriend the night before and texted Race that he wasnāt going to his party only for Race to show up to find Jack fully dressed and ready for the party. Race is very confused.
David Jacobs ā Buddy the Elf
Davey goes as Buddy this year (hehe, I had to do it) and he is starting to really enjoy celebrating Christmas. But this year, he shows up crying and asking Race to help him and Jack mend their relationship. Right after Race leaves to drag his brother to the party, Davey gets to work redecorating with the others.
Racetrack Higgins ā Santa Claus
Race has always wanted to host but it seems to be turning into a nightmare at the beginning of the night when he starts by missing the beginning of his own party. His boyfriend shows up as John mcclane again and Race designs his own Santa suit, and making his apartment into a perfect workshop with cookies and decor and gifts for everyone. But he has to convince his dumbass brother to make up with his boyfriend again.
Spot Conlon ā John McClane/Christmas Prince
Spot arrived as John McClane, as he does every year. But when Race leaves to get Jack, he changes into a Christmas Prince costume and redecorates a bit to make the space a little more romantic with candles leading to the tree (safely) and little gifts leading towards Spot who had a ring in his pocket. He has been planning it for around a year and he couldnāt believe Jack agreed to help him out this year. He is incredibly nervous but manages to surprise Race as he walks back in with his brother.
Crutchie Morris ā Frosty the Snowman
Spotās rock in the whole situation. He goes with him to get the ring and helps him plan the decor and the surprise.
Albert is near oblivious to the whole situation but the second he finds out what Spot is planning, he helps him wrap the little gifts for Race down the path through his apartment. He even makes fake snow so itās more festive.
Jack goes as a criminal cowboy this year, a wanted man on the run. He wears mostly black, some brown and a mask to conceal his face from anyone who might want to snitch on him. He is flying high, on the top of the world. Him and Davey have had a great year and are still going strong.
David Jacobs ā Sheriff
Davey is a sheriff this year. Him and Jack decided to do the couples costumes this year. Him and Jack play a little game of cat and mouse during the party until David manages to āarrestā Jack, leaving Jack in cuffs for the majority of the party. Jack doesnāt mind. Him and Davey leave for Jackās bedroom early. They are not seen for most of the night.
Racetrack Higgins ā Siren
Race comes dressed up as a siren. He is drunk pretty much from the beginning of the night and hanging off of his boyfriend. He gets very drunk and he and Albert smoke a lot of weed and Race ends up trying to sing to Spot to get him to wait on him. It only works because Spot loves him so much.
Spot Conlon ā Pirate
Spot is a pirate, of course, to go with Raceās costume. Him and Jack are on better terms than last year. He and Race try to tone down their relationship when heās around because Jack is so protective. Spot has given up drinking all together because he doesnāt trust friends to hold their liquor.
Crutchie Morris ā Quicksilver
Always a superhero, Charlie decided to be quicksilver as he has a new leg that allows him to run better. He once again documents the party because he knows that nobody will remember it.
Albert DaSilva ā Sailor
Albert accidentally comes as a sailor, which causes some tension between him and Spot, as Albert used to have a crush on Race that theyād thought theyād resolved because Albert was now dating Finch. Albert insists that he is over Race, but it slips that he wouldāve loved it if Race had chosen him over Spot. Race ends up feeling guilty and Spot takes him home early.
Katherine Plumber ā Kim Possible
Katherine is KP this year, because she herself is KP. She is now married to Sarah and the two are expecting to become parents.
Sarah Jacobs ā Shego
Sarah is of course Shego, and she is the one that has to keep Spot and Albert from taking each otherās heads off.

Hello!! I love your writing so much, and Iām in love with every fic you write. Either from here or AO3/Fanfiction.net. One of my favorites is the one in which Spot is taken captive for information about Katherine and they use Race to try and get him to talk. If you want to, could you please make a continuation of it? Thank you so much!
Well of course!
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Jack was dizzy. He groaned, trying to sit up. He couldnāt remember what had happened. He remembered seeing Raceās apartment and then⦠nothing. ā⦠Jack⦠Jack!ā He jumped at that cry. He sucked in a breath, coughing a bit, trying to reach up for his head before he found his wrists tied tightly behind him. He found himself to be sitting up, wrists bound through bars of a cage that surrounded him. His vision was blurry, but not blurry enough to distract him front the legs tangled up with his own.
The young man sucked in a breath, coming back to consciousness quickly at that. His gaze wildly dashed to every corner of the room. āKat?!ā he called.
āJack!ā the same voice hissed.
Jackās eyes landed on someone to his left on the outside of the bars. His heart sank. āSpotā¦ā he whispered before he looked at the person in the cage with him. He gasped. āTyler!ā he screamed. The boy wasnāt moving. āTyler! Racerāā
āHeās drugged! They drugged him,ā Spot insisted.
āThey beat him!ā Jack cried. āBaby⦠hey, Racer,ā he whispered. The boyās exposed skin was covered in blood and bruises. The boyās clothes were gone. He was left in his underwear, leaning against the bars. āTyler Jamesā¦ā Jack called again.
āIāve tried,ā Spot insisted. āI canāt tell if heās asleep or just dazed.ā
Jack yanked at the ropes that held him back. āWhere are we?ā
Spot shook his head, trying to get closer to Jack. āIt doesnāt matter, they brought you here, that means they havenāt found Katherine. Theyāre gonna bait her with youāā
āTelling him our plans, Conlon?ā one of the men chuckled as they walked into the room. Jack scowled. He struggled against the ropes as he unlocked the cage him and his brother were in. Jack kicked the man right in the knee, breaking it. The man screamed, going down. Jack managed to twist just enough to grab a knife off of the manās belt, cutting himself free and slamming the door against the head of another man coming through the door. Then he slid towards his brother.
The boy barely flinched when Jack took his face in his hands. āHey, heyā¦ā Jack whispered as he pulled the blindfold off of Race's face. The boyās eyes blinked sluggishly. āTy, look at meāā
The old man stalked up to him, grabbing Jack by the arm and trying to yank him away. āGet up!ā
Jack shoved the man back, punching him square in the face, his adrenaline through the roof. Then he turned back to his brother. āRacer!ā he cried, pulling the gag out of the boyās mouth. āHey, can you hear me? Look at me, itās Jackie, pal, come on!ā He gasped as an arm wrapped around his throat, cutting off his oxygen supply. He started choking.
āJackieā¦ā Race whimpered.
āHey! Thatās enough!ā Spot demanded.
The old man stood tall as the good with the bloody nose dragged Jack backwards. āLay him flat. Give me his hand.ā
Jack gasped for air as he was shoved onto his stomach on the cold ground. The good with the now broken knee turned to them, limping as he pulled out his phone, recording what was happening. Jack struggled hard. āLet me go!ā he demanded.
The old man chuckled as Jackās right wrist was held down, leaving his hand exposed. The second Jackās palm was flat against the floor, he tilted his head, stomping down on the manās hand with all the force of his body weight. The cracks were sickening, every bone in the manās hand snapping into pieces. Jackās scream was deafening. āI understand you are quite the artist, Mr. Kelly,ā the old man hummed, leaning down to the young man. āThatās a shame. I certainly hope youāve had your fun with your silly little paintings. Give me the other hand.ā
āNo! Stop!ā Spot cried.
Jack was shaking as he was rolled onto his back. Tears were cascading from his eyes. All he could see was white, blinded by absolute pain. He gasped for air, trying to yank his left hand out of the iron grip it was in. āN-no, no! Please!ā The second stomp was so much worse than the first. Jackās blood curdling scream echoed off the walls. He didnāt breathe for a long moment. Not until shaken, trembling gasps coursed through his system. He was dragged back into the cage, left unbound. He couldnāt do anything. Not with two broken hands.
Then the three men just left. Just like that. No warning, no interrogation. Nothing. Jack stared up at the ceiling, unable to move.
Spot blinked the tears out of his own eyes. āJack,ā he called again quietly. āYou need to breathe.ā
Jack couldnāt. Not properly.
āJackie,ā Race whispered. āCan you just lay still with me?ā he asked innocently. Jack took a shuddering breath at that. He swallowed hard. Race glanced over at Spot before looking back at his brother. āLetās lay here till the sun rises, okay?ā
Jack looked over at him, trying to calm down. āI c-canāt m-move āemāā
āDonāt try to move them,ā Race insisted. āDonāt. Just breathe.ā His voice was quiet and weak. The boy was starved. So was Spot. āBreathe deep breaths. Youāre gonna be okayā¦ā
Jack gasped for air, hyperventilating. Spot moved as close as he could to the cage. He winced when he saw Jackās broken fingers. He looked up at Race who was staring back at him, looking heartbroken. The boy knew as well as Spot did that Jack would be lucky to wiggle his index finger again, let alone hold a paintbrush.
āSpotā¦ā Race breathed. āKatherine wouldāve been close behind him⦠what are they gonna do with us?ā
Spot shook his head. āShush, blondie,ā he whispered. āIām gonna get us out of here. I promise. Just hang on for me, okay?ā
Race sniffled. āI canāt even m-move ta h-help him,ā he whimpered. āHeās gonna pass outāā
āItāll be good. Let him pass out, itās okay,ā Spot insisted. āIf heās asleep heās not thinking about the pain. Just⦠rest and let me figure this out.ā
Race went quiet, watching his brother in tears. Spot looked around the room, more desperate than ever to get them out of here. Once they were done with Katherine, there was no doubt in Spotās mind of what would be done.
Hi!! I really really love your fics, and I was wondering if you could write something in which Race has amnesia?
This one was interesting for me. I really enjoyed figuring out what the hell was going on as I wrote it
The world was floating. Nothing made sense. Whispers were hissing and winding all around the boy who didnāt know where he was or what he was doing. He mustāve been sleeping. But he couldnāt remember how heād fallen asleep. Or where he was. He groaned, trying to sit up.
āHey! Hey, kiddo, o-ohā¦ā a voice whispered from beside him. āSomeone call a nurse, please? Racer, stay down, itās okayāā
āWh-whatā?ā the boy tried to asked, but a hand pushed him back down onto a bed. āN-no, I w-wanna get up!ā
āIām sure you do, sweetheart, but your body aināt ready for that yet,ā the voice insisted.
The kid rubbed his eyes, blinking harshly and trying to clear his vision. Then he shoved at the hands on him, albeit weakly. He wanted to get up and run. Surely he was being kidnapped. Whoever was pushing him down had taken him fromā¦
From where? He couldnāt remember.
When he finally managed to see in front of him, he saw a young man. He calmed at the sight of him, but he couldnāt quite figure out why. The man had short brown hair on head, a bit of stubble on his chin. He had kind eyes, looking at him like he was the only thing in the world, though his cheeks were stained with tears. The boy didnāt know why. He didnāt know this man.
His caretaker smiled sadly when their eyes met and he ran a hand over the boyās hair. āHey, punk,ā he whispered. āYouāre safe, itās okay, stay calmā¦ā
The boy didnāt speak, scared to upset this stranger. He swallowed hard, looking up at the door as a young woman walked through the door. āGood morning,ā she smiled. āHow are we feeling?ā
The young man bit his lip, looking up at her nervously. āHe hasnāt said a word yet,ā he insisted. āShould I be worriedā?ā
āItās alright, honey,ā the nurse assured. Then she looked down at the boy. āCan you tell me what year it is?ā
The boy opened his mouth to respond, but paused. He didnāt know what year it was.
āCan you tell me the last thing you remember?ā the nurse asked. The man beside her looked down at Race, eyes trained on him, like he was studying him.
Tears came to the boy's eyes. He couldnāt remember anything. His breaths picked up and the beeping machine beside him started to become a real nuisance.
āItās alright, baby,ā the man in front of him whispered, letting out a small sigh. āTake a deep breathā¦ā
āCan you tell me your name, sweetie?ā the nurse asked.
A small whimper left the boy at that. No. He couldnāt. He couldnāt remember anything. The tears began to fall down the kidās face. The young manās mouth hung open, panic flooding his features. āU-uhā¦ā he shook his head, looking up at the nurse.
The nurse nodded. āItās okay, weāre gonna run a few tests and see what comes up, okay? Iām going to go get the doctor,ā she assured.
The boy was left with this kind stranger, breathing harshly, panicking, uncertain of absolutely everything.
But the man gently took his hands. āHey, look at me, itās okay, baby, itās alright,ā he assured. āDo you remember me, honey? You recognize me?ā The boy shook his head, looking terrified. That made the man look so horribly sad. āMy nameās Jack, itās alright,ā he assured shakily. āIām⦠well, Iām your brother⦠y-you normally call me ādadā. B-because I adopted you when you were pretty little. I adopted you when you were six.ā
The boy didnāt respond, just staring at this man, Jack. Jack looked so worried about him. āD-dadā¦ā Race repeated. āI d-donāt r-rememberāā
āThatās okay,ā Jack assured. āHey, itās okay, Iām here⦠your name is Tyler James Kelly. We changed it when I adopted you. You chose it, do you remember?ā
The boy shook his head. āW-why did we⦠what wasāā he felt like he couldnāt breathe, like he was trapped in a body he didnāt know in a world that didnāt know him.
āYour name used to be Antonio Higgins. We changed it c-cause you wanted my last name. So we could be a real family. But I normally call you āRaceā,ā Jack explained. āItās okay, you donāt need to remember right now, these people are gonna help us, okay?ā The kid saw Jack holding back sobs. He knew Jack was panicking as much as he was right now. And somehow, that was comforting.
āWh-why canāt I remember?ā the boy asked. Race. He liked that nickname.
Jack sniffled, glancing out the window. āI fucked up,ā he whispered. āI⦠itās my fault⦠I was driving⦠truck backed out of a driveway, right into your side of the car,ā he whispered. āCar flipped upside down.ā
Race looked at the man carefully. His heart broke when he saw that the manās arm was in a cast. Other than that, he looked relatively unharmed. āA-are you okay?ā
Jack let out a bitter chuckle at that. āY-yes, sweetheart, Iām okay,ā he whispered. āIām a lot more worried about you.ā He reached for the boyās head. Race tensed a bit, but relaxed at the touch almost immediately. āAnything coming back ta you?ā The boy bit his lip and shook his head a bit. He hissed in pain as it shot up through his head. āShit,ā Jack whispered, reaching for the boyās cheek. āItās alright, Racer, just stay still, huh?ā
āI d-donāt r-remember what happened, I d-dunno who I a-am, I⦠I dunnoāā Race whimpered.
āMr. Kelly, this is Dr. Kloppman,ā the nurse introduced. āWeāre gonna take a look at Tyler, okay?ā They pulled in a wheelchair and went to touch the boy.
Race whimpered, reaching to hold Jackās arm. āW-wait, I wanna stay here, w-with dadā¦ā he insisted, looking at Jack for help. āI d-donāt wanna be alone.ā
Jack melted. āItās okay, Racer, Iām gonna stay with you, itās alright,ā he promised, helping sit Race in the wheelchair. Then he grabbed his own crutch and wobbled down the hall with the boy.
ā
Jack wouldnāt really have called Race a clingy kid. Not recently, anyway. When Jack had finally got the child away from his father, the boy had never let go of him, but once his kid grew up a bit, he was a free spirit. He made friends without a problem, was always out socializing, was loud without cause and never held back his opinions or thoughts.
But now it was like Jack was holding the hand of that six year old little boy heād adopted the second he turned eighteen. The kid was fifteen now. Jack sighed and squeezed the boyās hand as they made it into their tiny apartment. Jack usually slept on the pullout couch. Race would take the bedroom.
Right now, the room was clean and people were bickering in the kitchen. Race was hiding behind him, absolutely terrified. The boy clung to his arm. Jack bit his lip, clearing his throat as he closed the door behind him. āUh⦠guys?ā he called. The people in the kitchen didnāt respond. āGuys!ā he yelled.
There were three people there. Race pressed a bit further into Jackās back. āHey! Welcome home,ā one of the men said. He was tall with dark hair. āWe made dinnerāā
āItās okay, Racer, these are our friends,ā Jack assured. āYou wanna say hi?ā He knew he was babying the kid, but there was not much else he could do. Race was acting like he did when he was a toddler.
Race shook his head.
Jack sighed. āTy, itās okay,ā he assured. āThis is Davey, Katherine and Charlie. They love youāā
āIām really tired, dad,ā Race whispered.
Jack saw the looks on his friends' faces. He swallowed hard and turned back to the boy. āOkay, letās go to bed then, huh?ā He smiled softly, taking the boy into his room, gesturing to some folded up pajamas for the boy and undressing the bed for him. Once Race was changed, he crawled into bed and Jack pulled the covers over him, kissing his head.
But the second he went to leave, his kid reached for his hand. āW-wait,ā he whispered. āC-can you sit with me?ā
Jack turned back to the kid slowly and sat on the edge of his bed. He ran a hand over the boyās hair. āWhatās goinā on in that brain aā yours, baby?ā he asked.
Race sighed. āI j-just⦠I kn-know I know you, b-but I donāt remember how or whyāā
āOkay, here,ā Jack whispered, reaching for some of the framed photographs around the room. Then he sat back down, spreading out the pictures. āThis one,ā he said, pointing to a photo of himself standing with a very small, very shy blond boy at his hip. Jack was a few years younger, wearing a suit and tie. The boy was holding a little teddy bear with a small smile on his face. āThis is the day that the adoption was finalized and you were officially my kid,ā he said. Then he pointed to another picture, one of the same little boy with mouse ears on his head on top of Jackās shoulders next toā
āThatās Mickey!ā Race smiled.
Jack scoffed. āRemember Mickey Mouse, but donāt remember the man who raised you, typical,ā he teased. Raceās smile fell a bit at that but Jack shook his head. āIām just kidding, Racer, Iām glad you remember. We went to Disneyland when you were seven because we were so happy we got to be a family,ā he explained. āAnd then this one,ā he said, moving to a picture of the boy a bit more grown up with Jackās arms around him, giving him a kiss on the head. āThis was right after your first dance recital at school. This was when you were eleven.ā
Race reached for the pictures. He tilted his head, inspecting them very closely. āI dance?ā he asked.
Jack nodded. āYou do dance and gymnastics, and youāre very good at it,ā he insisted.
The boy was very focused. Jack smiled when the boy stuck his tongue out as his mind worked overtime. It was a habit the kid picked up when he was little. āWhat do you do?ā the kid asked.
Jack paused at that. āU-uh⦠I work in sales,ā he said.
āWhat do you sell?ā Race asked.
Jack squinted. āLots aā things,ā he said. āI think itās time for bed, kiddo. Doctor said rest is gonna help the most.ā
Race laid back, still holding onto Jackās hand. Jack sighed and sat with the boy until he fully fell asleep, wondering if it was better that Race didnāt remember everything about their lives.
ā
Jack was sitting on the couch, head in his hands. David sighed as he sat next to him, setting a glass of water on the table. He rubbed Jackās back. āHey, heās okay,ā David insisted. āThatās what mattersāā
āI coulda killed him,ā Jack whispered.
āSo he really doesnāt remember⦠anything?ā Charlie asked from across the room.
Jack shook his head. āHe doesnāt even remember his own nameā¦ā he whispered. āShowed him a picture of us at Disneyland. He remembered Mickeyāā
āYouāre sure heās not faking it?ā David whispered.
āIf he was faking it, Iām sure he wouldnāt be clinging to me as much as he is,ā Jack admitted, looking up at his friends with tears streaming down his face. He had a bitter smile on his lips. āI donāt care if he hates me for the rest of our lives, I just want my kid ta come backā¦ā he whispered.
Katherine sighed. āAnd if he does remember?ā
Jack shook his head. āI havenāt thought that far ahead, okay?ā
āHe canāt go to the cops, Jack, weāll all be killed for thatāā Charlie tried.
āJust, shut up! Please⦠pleaseā¦ā Jack shook his head, letting out a shaky sigh. āHeās terrified of other people, apparently, so⦠let me figure this out, okay? H-his memory will probably come back, thatās what the doctors said, but⦠I dunno⦠Iām⦠Iām not gonna let him go to the cops if he does remember.ā
Katherine scratched at her hair, a nervous tick. āJack⦠that man he saw you withāā
āI didnāt kill him, okay?ā Jack whimpered. āHe was already dead when I got to him, I wasā¦ā He took a deep breath, though it was trembling. āI was doing a drop. That was it.ā Jack ran a hand through his hair. āSnyder told me ta collect the money and go. When I got there, the guy was dead, but Race followed me, saw a gun in my hand and bolted!ā The kid was fast. Jack got into his car and chased after him, yanking him into the passengerās seat and taking off. Thatās when theyād been hit.
David scowled a bit. āSo it was a set up,ā he stated.
āBut that doesnāt make any sense!ā Jack hissed. āWhy would he want to lock me up? I make him good money!ā
āWell, maybe someone else was trying to set you up,ā David insisted. āIt doesnāt matter. Has Snyder contacted you since?ā
Jack swallowed hard, pulling his absolutely destroyed phone out of his pocket. He let it clatter to the table. āMaybe heāll think Iām dead,ā he said hopefully.
Katherine sighed and sat beside her friend, rubbing his back as Davey did. They had no idea of the boy listening to them from behind a closed door.
ā
Race was packing like crazy. He had no idea where he was going or what he needed or who he was or what heād overheard, but he knew he was in danger. Those people in there, they were criminals. For all Race knew, they couldāve kidnapped him. Those pictures couldāve been made up, or of some other kid. He haphazardly stuffed things into a backpack, opening the window right as the door opened behind him.
āRacer, you awake, babyā¦?ā
Race froze like a deer caught in headlights. He stared at Jack, trembling a bit as he debated whether or not to just bolt.
Jack squinted. āT, whatāre you doing?ā he asked, walking into the room and gently taking his own backpack off of Raceās shoulders. Race shoved him away. āHey!ā Jack yelped, looking stunned.
āWho are you?!ā Race cried.
The young man paused. āBabyāā
āNo! Stop calling me baby! Iām not your baby, I donāt know you!ā Race cried. āI heard you talking last night! I havenāt slept! I couldnāt sleep! I donāt know youāā
When Race tried to shove at Jack again, the man grabbed his wrists and pulled him into his chest to try and stop him. āHey! No, stop it! Stop!ā he insisted as the boy tried wildly to struggle out of his grip. āRacer!ā he finally cried. āThatās enough.ā The kid stopped after a moment, tears in his eyes as he shyly looked up at Jack. āYou are safe, we are safe. I did not lie ta you. Youāre my baby. Iām dad,ā Jack explained. āI adopted you when you were six. Youāre my half brotherāā
āYou said you had a gun!ā Race insisted. āTh-that you mightāve killed someoneā¦ā
Jackās shoulders slumped. āRacerā¦ā he whispered. āI can explaināā Jack was cut off by a loud knock on the door. Jack tensed. He swallowed hard, looking at Race. āListen to me, kid, I can explain everything, but I need you ta hide, right now. Please, come with me,ā he insisted. Race hesitated, but when Jack looked back at him in a panic at the second knock, Race hesitantly followed him to the closet. āStay here. No matter what you hear, you stay,ā he ordered.
Race didnāt have time to respond before Jack closed him in and rushed to open the door. āMr. Snyder, I wasāā Jack let out a cry of pain, like heād been punched in the gut. Race gasped quietly. He listened very carefully. He heard lots of shuffling in the other room. More than one person was there and Race knew it.
āYou didnāt do what I told you to do, Kelly,ā a low voice growled. āNow, when I tell you to do a drop, you do a drop. When I tell you meet someone in a motel, you meet them at the motel, when I tell you to get on your knees, youā¦ā
āY-yes, sir,ā Jack whispered. āIām sorry, m-myā¦ā he took a breath. āI g-got into an accident. Tyler was in the car, my phone is bustedāā
āDid I ask about your excuses?ā Race could only assume it was Mr. Snyder talking. He swallowed hard. āAll the jobs Iāve given you over the last few days are added to your debtāā
āSir, pleaseāā
āOr, if youād prefer, we can just take the kidāā
āNo!ā Jack screamed. āNo, please! Itās fine! Fine! Add it to my debt!ā he cried. āJ-just please⦠not Tyler,ā he insisted.
Race swallowed hard, ducking back behind the clothes in the closet as he heard Snyder chuckle. Then he heard Jack scream before he went silent. But the hits didnāt stop after that. Race pressed a hand stiffly over his own mouth, holding back his cries for a long time. It wasnāt until the complete silence hit after a door closed that Race peaked out of the closet, making his way into the main room.
A scream escaped the boy when he saw Jack facedown on the ground, unconscious, his injured arm exposed from its sling, face bruising and swelling quickly from the trauma heād just endured. Race shakily laid Jack flat on his back. āD-dad?ā he whimpered. āWake up, wake up!ā He shook the man desperately. Still, the man didnāt wake up. So Race grabbed a water bottle off the table and poured it over Jackās head.
The young man sucked in a breath before coughing a little as he was yanked back into consciousness. The moment he tried to sit up, the pain flooded back to him. He groaned, laying back flat.
āDad?!ā
āIām okayā¦ā Jack breathed. āIām okay.ā
Race glanced towards the door. āWh-who was that?ā
Jack swallowed hard. āA very bad man,ā he whispered.
Race didnāt ask anymore questions, he just sat with Jack, unsure of absolutely everything.
ā
Jack curled up on the couch. His whole body ached as he stared at the new phone in front of him. It had been dropped off in a yellow envelope at the front door only a few hours after Snyder had left. He waited for it to ring, dreading answering it.
Race was sitting beside him, watching him like he was studying him, trying to find any inkling of a memory. Jack swallowed hard. āI love you so much, kid, but I need you to stop analyzing me,ā he whispered.
Race blinked quickly and looked down. āS-sorryā¦ā he mumbled. āI think I remember something,ā he offered instead. Jack glanced up at him at that. āU-uh⦠I remember feeling awful, like⦠I g-guess I was sick,ā he explained. āAnd you brought me soup and this weird green smoothie and then you laid down and fell asleep right next to meā¦ā
Jack smiled sadly. He remembered that day. It was a while ago, maybe five years ago. Race had thrown up at school. Jack brought him home. Heād been tired from a job heād been on. He swallowed hard. āThatās good, Racer,ā he whispered.
āI-if I got you in trouble, Iām really sorryāā
āThis is not your fault,ā Jack interrupted immediately, looking up at the boy. āItās⦠itās my fault. All of it is on me, okay? You didnāt know any better. You still donāt⦠and now you canāt even remember anything beyond yesterday and I c-canāt fix it.ā Jackās voice broke. He shook his head, blinking back tears.
Race sighed, crawling a bit closer to the man on the couch. He lifted Jackās good arm up and wrapped it around his own shoulders before gently hugging Jack around the waist. Jack melted, kissing his head gently.
āYou could tell me whatās going on,ā Race insisted. āI know I⦠I mean I think Iām impulsive and I got you in trouble but⦠Iām listening now⦠and maybe Iāll remember this when I remember what happened and⦠itāll be betterā¦ā
Jack rested his chin on Raceās hair. He let out a breath. āI couldnāt let you goā¦ā he whimpered. āI love you too damn muchā¦ā He shook his head, swallowing hard. āYou were this little baby and⦠you pa was just terrible,ā he said. āOur mother, she just left you with him and then⦠she left me and I knew your dad, and I needed to get you away from him, but I was just this kid with nothing to his name,ā he said. āThatās when Snyder came along⦠found me trying to file for custody when I was seventeen and he offered to help. Said no court would listen unless I had good money. I just had to work for him. The next thing I know, Iāmā¦ā Trapped. So helplessly trapped under the boot of a man who had no remorse. āCourts gave me you and Iāve been working off my debt to him ever sinceā¦ā
Race bit his lip. āWhat do you do for him?ā
Jack didnāt answer the boy. He looked away, blinking back the humiliated tears in his eyes. Too much. He did too much. And it wasnāt like his debt would ever go away. Snyder took up so much of his time, he couldnāt have a real job, so his rent, groceries, everything Tyler needed, absolutely everything⦠it just added to his tab.
Race didnāt try to push. He just hugged the only man in the world he could remember and let out a breath. āIām sorry,ā he whispered. āCan I help?ā
Jack melted. āYou just stay here with me, and thatās enough,ā he assured.
The boy nodded against his caretakerās chest, watching the phone on the table in anticipation, wondering how much heād remember as time went by, hoping he wasnāt going to make any of this worse.
Hey girlieeee do you have any plans on updating some of your ficssss
So it has come to my attention that my Top Secret fic has been rediscovered. Yeah, Iāll probably update it. Not sure when but Iāll look at it. I canāt remember what my actual plans were for it and if I were to write it now, it may be a lot different, but Iām sure I can put something together ;)

okay but letās take a moment to imagine situation where the whumpee is trapped in a special room the whumper created specifically so the room increases in heat. Itās grudual at first though, so the whumpee doesnāt notice it right away, but overtime the whumpee finds themselves taking off the layers of clothes they have on more than normal. And it just keeps getting hotter and hotter until they give up some sort of information the whumper needs (bonus points if the whumpee was sexually harassed by the whumper and is afraid to take some layers of clothes(shirt, socks, etc.) they have off, because they donāt want to be in a position that makes them vulnerable)
So intriguingā¦
Jack Kelly Whump Board
Trembling
TW: Implied SA, Kidnapping, Torture
Jack couldnāt remember how heād gotten here. Everything was bright. He didnāt feel himself fighting to blink his eyes open. All he knew was the brightness above him that refused to come into focus in his vision. He groaned, rolling onto his side. He did notice immediately that he was wearing clothes he couldnāt remember putting on before. He shivered at the thought of someone dressing him in his sleep.
When Jack realized he was in a small room alone, he hesitantly pushed himself up, looking around. There were no windows. The room was white. The first thing that caught Jackās attention was the door. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, trying to soothe his pounding headache before he pushed himself up on his hands and knees and crawled towards the door. He knew it was a long shot, but he had to try it anyway.
Locked.
Jack couldnāt even fully stand. He felt nauseous. He closed his eyes again, slumping against the door. He took a few deep breaths, trying to regulate himself. Panicking would only make it worse. He knew that by now. When he finally forced his eyes back open, he saw the camera in the corner of the ceiling. He let out a defeated sigh. āYouāre a sick fuckā¦ā he mumbled. āYou canāt make me dance for you from behind your camera.ā No reply came for him. Jack tried to rest for a moment against the door. The second he relaxed again, a blaring alarm went off, making Jack gasp and jump, eyes wide. The alarm went off just like that. Jack grumbled a bit.
Time was a mystery here. Jack had lost count of the days, unable to see outside and drugged so often he couldnāt even begin to suspect how long it had been. He shakily stood up, using the doorknob for stability. He let out a long breath, glaring a bit at the camera. He used the wall to help him stay upright as he began to walk slowly around the room. He didnāt notice the mirror hung on the wall until he walked up upon it as he made his way around the small room.
Jack was wearing a suit, red and black detailing, even a little rose on his lapel. It was beautiful and elegant and stiff and Jack squinted as he saw his own reflection staring back at him. He reached up to touch his own face, hissing when he realized the bruise fading around his eye was covered by makeup. His hair was styled so perfectly. He felt sick. He could feel hands touching him. He swallowed hard. āPlayinā out some kind of sick fantasy, huh?ā Jack hissed. āCan you hear me, fucker? Iām not playing your games!ā he yelled, but the desperation and fear was clear in his voice.
The silence was deafening. Jack couldnāt breathe. He felt a bit of sweat bead on his forehead. He reached to wipe it off. Then he loosened the tie around his neck, throwing it to the side. He swallowed hard, walking back over to the doorknob, trying to get it to unlock. The alarm went off again. Jack scowled and looked back at the camera. He took off his jacket, throwing it at the lens. He couldnāt quite reach it.
Getting angry wasnāt helping. Jack felt lightheaded. He knew it mustāve been from the lack of food or the beatings, or everything else they were doing to him. Jack threw the jacket and the tie to the ground. He slid down to the ground, curling up tightly. They mustāve just been holding him until they wanted to play with him again, like some toy they manipulate. He clenched his jaw, feeling warm. He hid himself in a ball, wondering if anyone was looking for him, if anyone missed him.
He hadnāt noticed heād started to nod off until that stupid alarm started blaring again. Jack jumped up. āWhat?! What do you want?!ā he demanded towards the camera. Still, he got no response. āFuck!ā
It was only then that he realized he was covered in sweat. The air felt heavy. He tried to take a deep breath. He used his sleeve to wipe the sweat from his face. Makeup came off of his skin, smearing across his cheeks and staining the fabric he wore. He reached for the buttons of his shirt, pausing when he remembered he was being watched.
When he began walking towards the mirror, he saw himself looking weaker than he had before. His body was trembling from the heat and lack of nutrition and water. Water. āH-hey!ā Jack called, looking back at the camera. āHey, I n-need water!ā The alarm went off again. Jack whimpered, reaching to cover his ears. He blinked back tears as he yanked the shirt off of him. It was stuck to his skin. He peeled it off and then crossed his arms over his chest. He was only left in a white tanktop. It didnāt hide the hand shaped bruises on his arms or the hickeys on his collarbone.
It didnāt seem to be getting any cooler. Jack looked around for a vent, finding it and rushing over to it, only to find hot air blowing at him. He backed away from the vent, looking up at the camera in fear. He breathed a bit shakily, his hands still trembling as he kneeled down to take off his shoes and socks.
Jack swallowed hard, trying to quench his thirst with his own saliva. He sucked in a deep breath, trying to keep himself up and awake. He was failing miserably. He couldnāt stop himself from collapsing down to the floor, his limbs feeling like mush. His whole body trembled and heaved as it became harder and harder to breathe. He reached to unbutton the trousers he was wearing, humiliated as he slipped them off, leaving himself only in boxers and a tanktop. Then he laid in the middle of the steaming floor. His tanktop was soaked through. He slowly and shakily peeled it off as well, knowing how exposed he was.
āJust tell me what you want⦠what do you want?ā he whimpered.
Flashes of memories came rushing back. The beatings, the sleep deprivation, the ropes that held him down while an old man had his way with him. He just wanted it to be over. He curled up, trying to hide his exposed body. āIf you want out, Jackie, all you have to do is tell me who youāre working with,ā a voice came over an intercom.
Jack swallowed hard. He sniffled. āH-his nameās J-Joeā¦ā he admitted quietly. āJoe Pulitzerā¦ā
āGood boy.ā
Cool air began to flood the room and Jack shivered, grasping at his soaked hair. This was only the beginning and he knew it.
