Sasha and August took a term off while Roar was working on his online diploma and now they have all applied to university together. They can't wait to start this next chapter together.

Roar has had a lot of cooking practice after living with werewolves that only eat raw meat and now vampires that only eat plasma. Since he can now do it without feeling guilty, he has discovered a real passion for it. He's now considering turning it into a career. (The fact that he reached level ten with eggs and toast makes me laugh every time.)

Roar's first step in his new life was to get his high school diploma. He worked super hard and managed to pass with flying colors.

Roar does not know for sure where he's going in life, but he knows for sure that his best friends, Sasha and August, will be a part of it.

Roar has always had a great relationship with his sister Siggi and has recently formed a great bond with his dad. Sadly, his mother and brother are refusing to speak with him after becoming human. He is thankful for the relationships he does and hopes to recover the ones he lost.

Roar is a young adult! He's no longer a werewolf and is ready to live his own life. Now he just needs to figure out what he actually wants to do, but, after living for so long under high expectations, he is ready to just be free.

Roar: "Thanks for listening Dad. I really appreciate it."

Ivar: "Of course, I just want you to live the life that you want to live and I'm sorry that I ever tried to force you to be something that you are not."

After getting all of his fears and secrets of his chest, Roar felt an immense since of relief. He continued to have a wonderful conversation about his future plans with his dad and felt that they had never had a closer relationship.

Ivar: *nervous smile* "Hey Ro, thank you for actually talking to me. I was really worried that you wouldn't."

Roar: "Hey Dad. What do you want?"

I: "I just want to tell you that I understand what you did. You know I ran away when I was younger than you and I'm sad that you couldn't talk to me before you left."

R: *deep breath* "It was never meant to be against you. I just knew that I couldn't live as a wolf anymore with all of the expectations that it came with. Mom wanted me to live the life that she planned for me and I'm not cut out for that."

I: "Oh, Ro"

R: "I know that you always tried to give me some freedoms like getting to go to school for a little while, but it was just never enough. Then training started and I hated every aspect of it. I knew that I couldn't be the alpha and that I just needed to leave. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but I figured you would still try to convince me to stay."

Ivar felt truly defeated. He knew that Melina felt disrespected coming from an honored werewolf legacy, but he hated that Roar couldn't talk to them about this. He wanted it to be different for his kids than when he ran away from home and couldn't believe that he did not truly see it coming. Ivar let Melina win the argument, but he knew that they had both failed.

Ivar: "Roar never came home last night so I called around to find where he was."

Melina: "Ha! He must've partied hard! Is he with Sasha or August?"

I: "Actually he is with Uncle Haesten and seems to have taken a werewolf cure..."

M: "What?!? This is all your fault! I told you to stop letting him indulge in his human fantasies! Now he's thrown his life away!"

I: "You do not get to throw all the blame on me! We pushed him into our pack life despite all the signs that he wanted out. If we had actually talked to him, then maybe he would've talked to us instead of running away."

M: "Are you serious?!? He just turned his back on his family and you're defending him! I'm so done with all of this!"

Roar went to the only person that he knew would understand and not immediately tell his parents.

Roar: "Uncle Haesten I need your help. I can't go home like this."

Haesten (a vampire): "It's okay my boy. I see you left the wolf behind so of course you can stay here as long as you need."

After months of researching and gathering ingredients, Roar was finally able to cure himself. He was very relieved to be free of the wolf, but terrified of what this meant for his future.

Roar goes out for drinks with Sasha and August to celebrate his birthday. He has a great time until he realizes that it is a full moon and that it is time to take the cure. Sasha and August are worried about him doing this in secret, but they understand why he feels the need to do it.

What Rafe and the rest of the family don't know is that Roar has been studying hard to find a cure. He loves his family, but he does not want to live as a wolf anymore. As soon as he ages up, Roar plans to take the cure and leave his wolf side behind him.

Rafe: "Why are you avoiding training? Why are you avoiding your wolf duties?"

Roar: "Rafe would you just stop. You are not in charge and I do not half to listen to you."

Rafe: "You're going to be a terrible alpha."

Roar: "Just leave me alone."
