Sarah J. Maas, author of the ACOTAR series, once said she was an OUTLANDER fan and that Jamie Fraser was one of her inspirations when writing the books. This led ACOTAR fans to theorize that Jamie may have been the inspiration for the red-haired Lucien. 👀 Personally, I can't say for sure. 🤔 But I really liked Lucien from his first appearance in the book. I see traits in him that are reminiscent of Jamie's: devotion, self-sacrifice, a wonderful sense of humor, loyalty, the ability to listen and hear, a flexible mind, the ability to admit mistakes, the ability to understand and accept, courage, fearlessness, a willingness to give his life for his love, scars, and... fiery red hair. 😄 But if you think his storyline is similar to Jamie's, I'm sorry to disappoint you. Lucien has a completely different story and his own journey. But he's a wonderful character in the book series, one of the characters. I'm a little sad that he's featured less in the books than I initially expected, but I hope his character gets more development in future books. Haven't read ACOTAR yet? And if you have, does Lucien remind you of Jamie?🙄
"And the world was all around us"❤️ I also wanted to mark the end of Outlander with special art. ❤️ So many goodbyes have been written and so much artwork featuring Jamie and Claire created in these few days!😍 The fandom continues to recover from the last episode and accept the fact that there will be no new season.🥹 Everyone expresses their feelings in their own way. I also wanted to create something to mark the finale. I was thinking about what I wanted to show, and I drew this art, where the past and the future, and the past again, are mystically intertwined, and our couple passes into eternity, either through the power of healing or through their love across the centuries. ✨️ How are you, Friends? Have you recovered from the finale yet?
It's hard to believe there's only one final episode left in this wonderful story. I can't believe it. Can you?🥹 But back to the portrait. Even though Lord Grey (and David Berry) played a key role and shone in the previous episode, I couldn't help but sing an ode to Jamie Fraser's hair, which we finally got. 😅😁 The reconciliation scene was magnificent. 👏 Each of them aired their grievances, complained, confessed, apologized, and thanked. And someone even felt a slight twinge of fear, expecting a real punch in the face. It was great. 🤌😅
It was unexpected... Can I say no more? I have questions, doubts, and objections, but that didn't stop me from shedding tears several times while watching the episode. Do I need this? I don't! 🥹 In general, in our harsh times, many things are perceived differently than before. More acutely, more painfully. But despite everything, I decided to draw a warm and sunny art featuring these two. ✨️Fersali✨️

One of the most beloved couples ever. 🥰 "Nothing will harm ye while there is breath in my body, mo nighean donn" ✨️ I think any scene with them is a work of art in itself. And any quote is a poem. I think you've already guessed which shot I used for this illustration. At least, you've definitely guessed which season of Outlander it's from. 😉 But I moved Jamie and Claire to the endless, windy heather fields.
No one could guess this character in the Insta stories. Yeah, it was tough. 😅 I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched the recent episode or the season at all. Are there any, by the way? 👀 So, I wanted to paint the hero-savior Buck MacKenzie. He saved a very important gentleman, the king. 😁 And we're all VERY grateful to him for that, right? 🫶 But I drew the portrait based on a scene from the previous Outlander season 7. When Buck was talking to Roger. It was a very touching scene. Do you remember it?🥹
Sam said that if he had the chance, he'd sit down with Jamie, share a glass of whiskey, have a heart-to-heart chat, and share his thoughts. If it can't be done in real life, I thought, then it could be done in a drawing. 😅😉😊 A fateful meeting indeed! What would that conversation be like? 😉
Everyone loves this portrait of Jamie Fraser I've drawn 7 years ago. ✨️ By the way, it is drawn in the technique of vector graphics. Here, volume is created not by brushstrokes, but by forms. Many flat shapes are superimposed on each other, creating a bright, clear and juicy picture. This is a labor-intensive process. I used to draw a lot in this technique in the past. 🔸️Do you like this style?
This is sweet Rachel Murray performed by Izzy Meikle-Small Nice to see Rachel and Ian happy together.
By the way I updated my watermark (or signature). I've wanted to do this for a long time. So, don't be confused if you see a different signature on my artworks from now on.

Sweet Fanny's portrait is ready. 💛 Whose portrait would you like to see in my style?
Congratulations on the Premiere of the final season! ✨️ Outlander is an island of stability and love in our crazy world. It is sad to say goodbye. 🥹 I couldn't resist drawing this event.
Just waiting for the warm final season in our wild horror life. 🥹💕
First meeting. First glance. Although they know everything about each other. "Hope springs eternal" A phrase for all times.

Many of you liked my doodle in the IG stories and I decided to post it together with a quick colored version. Taking in consideration the situation with electricity, no access to my working place and other difficulties and limitations, I will post my sketches and doodles from time to time. Let's consider it as my new project. Small tablet, less time, different new brushes, new experiments, no pressure and a rough sketchy style. Are you with me? 🔸️Sketch 1
After yesterday's post, I received several negative messages about AI.
I want to say that we must first and foremost change our attitude toward AI, stop using it for pointless generation and fakes, chasing quantity and then being proud of quick results. This is a dead end. It's time to be honest and start thinking about and using AI as a tool for something bigger and more complex, for analyzing, processing data, and realizing major creative ideas that we couldn't do before. And this is far from the work of a single mouse click, as many superficially think and stubbornly insist on. It truly is a long-term process in which you plan, write, think, create, experiment, and produce. And people should finally be able to discern where effort, knowledge, authorial experience, and style have been invested, and where it's simply superficial use. Whether we like it or not, AI is already in our lives and is replacing many areas, and ignoring this is short-sighted. And to live in this new reality, we must embrace AI as a much deeper and more powerful tool. But I understand that this will take time for many to accept.
I'm not advocating for AI to replace everything. Because for me, nothing can replace the joy and satisfaction of the meditative process of drawing, which I've been doing for many years (far longer than AI has existed). But it's worth studying and understanding how AI can expand our own boundaries, enrich our experience, and where it can be used as an assistant, not as a complete replacement for the author. Therefore, I'm not going to abandon my experiments in every creative field I can.
And don't remind me that AI is stealing artists' work. I'm an artist, and this is my area of interest, and AI affects me directly, without mercy or embellishment. I've already experienced the loss of clients, the degrees of rejection and acceptance of AI. And I can say that if you use AI as a random generator and a fake, then you're stealing. So, understand and figure out what AI is, what it means to you, and where you fit within it. And only then judge. And don't tell me that AI is killing the environment. Humans will kill this Earth much faster.
