Just reread Liar Satsuki can See Death. It’s one of my favorite mangas. I do think the pivot from the relationship focus between Satsuki and Akira to focusing on Satsuki and Komako is kind of abrupt and feels like it came out of nowhere, but tbh I choose to believe all three of them are a throuple anyway. Like, Satsuki and Komako have to live together and spend most of their lives together in order to stop Komako’s curse from killing people, so it makes sense that they would grow as close as they do. But I don’t think that necessarily detracts from Satsuki’s relationship with Akira, Satsuki has 2 hands after all. Anyway you can’t talk about the ending of Liar Satsuki without mentioning that the mangaka did one of the funniest things possible with the post time skip reveal that Shiina is dating Akira’s mom
