SOLACE - a warm golden hour gshade preset ☀️
My new GShade preset, Solace, is finally here! This is easily the most work I've ever put into a preset, and it's the one I'm proudest of 🥺
My whole goal with this one was to fix the thing that's always bugged me about the base game: that dull blue/green hue over everything. Solace removes it and replaces it with a natural, sun-warmed base. Then it adds:
→ clarity, so everything is sharper and not so... blurred like TS4 default lighting → defined shadows and depth, no more flat, washed-out lighting → golden hour warmth, soft and glowy, permanently 6pm in summer 🏝️
✦ WHAT'S IN THE DOWNLOAD
2 files, 3 versions. Because one preset can't do everything well, so you get 3 flavours.
SCREENSHOTS. The pretty one. It's heavy. Way more shaders, plus ReLight for proper immersive lighting you can control yourself, and a DOF shader for that dreamy blurred background. ⚠️ It is NOT performance-friendly. Please don't play with this one on!
GAMEPLAY, with 2 flairs: → In-Game Flair. Tuned for live gameplay. → CAS Flair. Tuned specifically for Create-A-Sim; the shadows are sharper and deeper on this version.
Both gameplay flares are optimised for performance and visuals. I didn't want to hand you something that makes your game look beautiful and run like a slideshow.
