on an analytical level as well: the character development? nonsense. all you see is the dick lord being an ass to his son the entire movie, and then all of a sudden he renounces his wish (everything he had strove for for the entire movie) so he can love and be with his son???? out of nowhere nonsense. barbara wanting to just be less insecure and then all of a sudden deciding she wants to be an “apex predator”? like. bruh. talk about going from a lukewarm 0 to 2000 in the span of two hours. diana’s speech at the end? bad. where she basically says that every1 wishing for something was creating the world to be awful, thus grouping together the racist caricature that wishes for a nuclear bomb alongside the child that wishes for abuse to stop. legit. the moralistic framing was just horrendous. don’t waste 2 hours and 25 minutes on this.
