the irony of seth saying mox was whining and bitching 7 years ago when mox actually got his ass up and did something about it and seth's the one who has been whining and bitching ever since about always being second-best in wwe but has done fuck-all about it.

why is seth talking about roman's shit promos from 2015 when he should be talking about his shit promos from 2026, and 2025, and 2024, and 2023....

roman was handed everything by vince and triple h and he still has not done one single memorable thing or had one good storyline in 14 years. vince didn't give a shit about dean and seth and they just casually pulled off the greatest wrestling storyline in history.

roman also had 0 impact on seth's career and character. replace roman with any random nobody at wm31 and every other time and nothing about seth changes. seth's said a million times that the shield wouldn't exist without him and dean and it was the two of them who had a vision for changing the company together and dean taught him so much and his and dean's feud was extremely important for both of them and his character would've never evolved the way it needed to without reuniting with dean and he would've never been as successful as he is without dean. who the fuck even is 'roman reigns.' name one noteworthy contribution he ever made to seth's career that wasn't just stealing opportunities from him.

as seth himself said, literally nothing would have changed if roman was never betrayed by seth. nothing. it had no impact on him. he would've failed his way to the top regardless.

anyway the whole point of seth's betrayal was about seth losing himself and dean losing his home and finding his own strength and belief in his loss and abandonment and ultimately getting his revenge and proving seth wrong and then seth regaining his soul and the person he loved the most and their relationship being stronger in the end and not about the 'tribal chief' whatever the hell that is supposed to be.

there's something so sinister about wwe rewriting the chair shot from this deeply tragic and personal betrayal between the insecure man poisoned by ambition and manipulated by a toxic mentor and the person who loved him and trusted him more than anyone and making it into some kind of corporate masterplan that was the catalyst for everything that happened in the next decade in that company. in true wwe fashion, they really just dehumanised the whole story and stole any emotional resonance it had. yeah, no, i don't think the greatest storyline of all time between the two best storytellers of all time was actually about the future and success of vince mcmahon's sex trafficking company. vomit.

seth's admitted wwe is evil. he's admitted he resents the wwe system (i.e. vince and triple h) which rewards mediocrity and failure and gives people like hogan and roman and brock lesnar a million chances at the expense of people who are actually talented and who love the business. politically, wwe represents everything he claims to hate. and he will still never leave that place. you are in an abusive relationship, man.

will ospreay is really at the centre of the messiest polycule of all time. swerve and hanger have tried to kill each other a bunch of times. kenny and mox have tried to kill each other a bunch of times. mox has tried to kill basically all of them. max is somehow adjacently involved with all this. will betrayed okada and kyle betrayed will and now kyle and okada are toxic boyfriends. where does it all end.

literally all roman's 'insults' of seth boil down to "you're second-best because i cheated to win for years and also i was hand-picked by vince mcmahon." he has no real argument. he can't say he's a better wrestler or a harder worker or literally anything. what does making fun of seth's injuries accomplish when that's obviously not his fault? that man is a failure and a huge loser and he knows it. seth should never feel jealous or resent anything that man has 'achieved' because he was gifted all of it and he never earned a single shred of it.
