Listen, my dear friend, L , just got his papers in and has legally gone from her to him and my heart is so full to bursting. I hired him a few years ago at my old job and immediately connected with him. At the time, he was not sure of himself and living very uncomfortably as a lesbian. Through lots of long talks and discussions I was one of the first ones he came out to and I’ll never forget how proud I was to call him my friend. I have watched him become 100% the man he was always meant to be over these past years and I love him so much. He’s a great dad, friend, co worker, and one of the most genuine and caring people I’ve ever met. Honestly, I just wish for everyone out there not living their truth to find the strength to do so.
