Hi! When it comes to the read-along, do you have a list of which chapters are being read on each day? My husband and I want to join in this year but prefer holding physical copies in our hands. Looking forward to September!

I can definitely compile the list, I just have to dig in my files and my blog for a bit - I had that information somewhere, I just don't remember where 😅 I'll tag you when it's done!
I have to say one thing, though - reading from a physical copy is straightforward only in Fellowship, in The Two Towers and a majority of The Return of the King we're reading from up to four different chapters at once, and those fragments are often chopped up and rearranged to reflect the time of day when they happen. For example, there might be a day when you get an entry that's compiled from a Frodo and Sam fragment that happens in the morning, then Merry and Pippin in the morning and midday, the three hunters in the afternoon and Frodo and Sam again in the evening. The battle of Pelennor fields is another example, as a part of it is shown from two different but simultaneous perspectives. So it can get quite complicated! I just wanted to let you know :)
But I know there were a couple of other readers who preferred to read from a physical copy, so maybe they can share how it was for them so you have a point of reference :)

@ladyzayinwonderland I am chiming in as one of those readers who (partially) followed along with a physical copy (specifically The Return of the King). I made a small post about it here at that time. I’ll try to add a few more details that I can remember. Before I begin I must emphasize that I am not advertising my methods as the best way to read along with a physical copy. I only wish to outline my experience so you and anyone else reading this can decide how to proceed with reading the LOTR newsletter.
