Hello, fellow Sebastian Stan fans. You’re probably wondering why I chose this name for this account and I really want to clarify not only that, but why I chose to create this. Seb is an awesome human being and we all know how talented and sweet he is, but some people in this fandom seem to forget that “human being” part often. You see, Seb gets tired. He gets sad, hungry, angry and happy like pretty much every other person on this planet. Seb has things to worry about, movies to shoot, friends and family to see and a whole bunch of things but there’s one thing Seb does NOT have to do if he doesn’t want to, and that is playing the therapist. He’s not a therapist. He has his own issues. I’m honestly sick of seeing people using their own issues to try to get his attention, playing some sick game of “I’m gonna hurt myself Sebastian!!! Look!!!” How do you think that makes him feel? Do you think putting this kind of responsibility over someone’s shoulders is fair? He does his best to send fans messages but for real, don’t you think he feels anxious, or guilty, or even worried because he doesn’t have time to do that for everyone? Is that how you want him to feel? Sebastian is amazing, he’s supportive and sweet but he’s NOT responsible for your mental health. He’s not responsible for ANYONE’s mental health but his own. Do not guilt trip him. Be grateful that he even takes time to give out words of encouragement and support to some people, but stop making that his priority. Stop making that YOUR priority. Get help. Real, professional help. Another thing that led me to honestly think there are “fans” hurting him is the amount of hate he gets for shipping a fictional character that he read on the comics. Yes, he reads the comics because he loves Bucky and wants to portray him to the best of his abilities. And instead of being happy for that, some people call him slurs, call him a homophobic over a FICTIONAL COUPLE. You are hurting the person you claim to love over a fictional couple. There are better ways to speak your mind and stand for what you believe in. For a generation that’s so easily offended, you all sure like to offend people for thinking differently. He’s not a homophobic. He’s not trash, he’s not bad and he’s definitely not a therapist. Be grateful Bucky is being played by someone who has so much love for the character. Get over your teen issues of “but mooooom he likes something I don’t”. That doesn’t make him bad. If you can’t handle different opinions, damn you’ll have a hard time when you leave tumblr and go out into the real world. Speak your mind, but respect him. He’s a human being. STOP HURTING SEB. And if you are one of these toxic “fans”, DO NOT go over to him with your “I care” crap because you DON’T.
