literally everything about ianto's death scene is fucked up and evil and heartbreaking you get to pick your poison which line/moment kills you the most. but I do think "it was good, yeah?" is an underrated knife to the heart. just. the sheer simplicity of it. it was good. it was never going to last but it was good. something something things mattering even when they're doomed to end tragically.
