I think I am undeniably projecting shit that we do at the school I work at now in the year of our lord 2026 onto tosh's experience growing up in the 80s. I don't think this was really a thing schools were doing back then. and yet I cannot get out of my head the idea that as a kid/tween she was in one of those interventions where she got taken out of lessons to play board games with the other autistic kids and learn how to socialise. AND it pissed her off badly bc she just wanted to do maths.
