Hi! I am currently figuring out what I would like to use in the future. My summer break just started and I’ll use the time to try different things as I still don’t know what suits me best. I ordered some dotted A5 paper for my Filofax, and I will probably use my Filofax as a bullet journal as I can take out all the pages and re-organise them whenever, I can’t do it in a normal notebook :-) I always use my digital calendars, on both my iPhone and my MacBook. I use the standard app on iOS. I wouldn’t survive without it.Also, I do have a planner for my desk which never leaves my desk.Lastly, I use @emmastudies‘ monthly planners. I print one at the end of every month to plan the new month. This gives me a great overview.

As a lingo-nerd, I do love reading! Unfortunately, I barely find the time for it, but I hope to read some good books this summer. I just can’t enjoy books when I know I have plenty of other stuff to do...I am not a fan of fantasy. People always tell me it’s the best genre to get lost and “escape from reality”, but I think I’m a person who likes stories from real life (our could be real!). I love stories that touch me and go deep. I also do like plots with philosophical backgrounds, or even just literature about philosophy and life. I love stuff that expires my own perspectives and makes me think about life and the choices we make :-)And as a language teacher, I also do love classic literature - Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, George Orwell. Same for Danish and German authors :-)

Hey - thanks for your interest and request! xFirst, I think there are many great printables online from other bloggers already (I can highly recoommend you to look at emmastudies’ printables). Second, I just can’t find the time for it. That’s basically it. People already suggested me to make my printables paid, but this still doesn’t give me the time to make them.I’m studying, substituting, and I do have a social life as well. I love to share my daily student life with you, and I try to do small tutorials and tips, but unfortunately, I will only do printables and stuff if I feel that something’s missing. I hope you understand!! :) xx

First advice: don’t. I’m kidding. Depending on where you are from, it can be really difficult to learn German. I don’t say this to demotivate you, but I’ve heard it from so many people. Of course, you can learn German, but unfortunately - since I’m German myself - I have no idea how to learn it as a foreign language.After summer, I’ll start my courses in German as a foreign language-teaching, and I might give you some better advice then.Anyhow, the best advice for foreign language learning is to keep going! Try to practice the four main skills - reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Start out as simple as possible and go on from there.I hope it was helpful!

Dear everyone, Christmas is just around the corner, and I just wanted to wish you the happiest holidays! Whether you’re celebrating Christmas or not, I hope love will be all around you. Actually, I don’t mean to write more than that; have yourself some wonderful days with the ones you love. If you are spending the days alone, remember to take care of yourself and enjoy every second as well. If you’re not feeling good lately, remember it is okay that you feel the way you feel. Just because it is Christmas, you don’t have to act as if everything is alright. But please remember that better times are ahead of you - and maybe 2018 will be your year?! Lots of love and hugs from me. Remember to spread the love and jolly vibes. There are people out there who need it. Keep those in mind who maybe aren’t as lucky as you are. Of course I do know Turkey! My dad just was on vacation in Turkey with two of his sisters (I still had uni, which is why I couldn’t go with them).I am studying to become a teacher, but beside my studies, I do work as a substitute teacher at a small school nearby :)
