We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair.

We struggle daily to survive in an environment filled with threats and dangers.

I lost our only source of livelihood when the war destroyed my husband's gym, which he built with dedication and hard work. My children Sahar, Dana, Mona, Malak and Yahya have been deprived of education after their schools were destroyed, severely threatening their future. , which increased the state of hopelessness and hopelessness in which we live.

Our household consists of my four wonderful children, my husband, my ailing father and father-in-law.

We lived a relatively stable life in Gaza prior to October 7 th, 2023. Since then, we have been displaced multiple times. We left our home, our belongings, our life and dreams. We finally ended up in a tent after moving in multiple unsafe homes. My children as a result, are suffering from malnutrition, inability to sleep and fear of bombing and explosions all around us.

We are in a continuous state of unrest and it's taking a toll on us physically, mentally and emotionally.

We are in dire need of help to hopefully move out to safety and provide for our family. My father needs a surgical intervention to remove gangrene from his foot and my father-in-law is suffering from severe depression after the death of my mother-in-law. My youngest is anxious and cries all the time. Our world is collapsing and I can’t figure out a way out of our situation. This war has changed our life to living a constant nightmare.

We no longer have the minimum necessities of life

No homes, no water, no electricity, nothing left.

Then the office where my husband worked was destroyed. My husband works as a computer engineer. The entire tower, which included many companies and private clinics, was bombed.

We lost many friends, including my husband’s mother, who died in the war as a result of extreme fear and gangrene in the intestines due to malnutrition. My children are still grieving for their dear grandmother, and now we live in a tent that lacks the lowest standards of living.

Our suffering has been continuing for about seven months, in light of the cold, rain, and lack of winter clothes.

Before i relay the message, i need you to understand something first. This is long but IDC i need you to pay attention.

For so many days, palestinians on here have been collecting funds to escape the violence, starvation and illness in Gaza, but as you may already know, fundraising is only the first step.

There are so many other hoops they need to jump through to get out of Gaza, even after collecting the heinously exorbitant amount the travel coordinators demand, but the main one being that rafah crossing has not been open since early May, when the IOF had siezed control of it.

There are people there RIGHT now, who collected all the funds that were unjustly demanded of them, and STILL cant evacuate because the iof occupying that part of the border wont fucking let them.

The people who are reaching out to us and telling us to share their fundraisers after walking entire kilometers to get somewhere with a good enough connection, are doing so based on the feeble HOPE that some day in the future something will change and they can make a move when that window of opportunity arrives.

We have now recieved news from unofficial sources that Rafah crossing might open up soon, maybe even within the next week.

This is a window of opportunity that people like Shahed CANNOT afford to miss.

Shahed is a 20 year old student who used to study at Al-Azhar university, and the sole provider for her family at the moment- including her ailing father (a heart patient) and her 5 younger siblings (youngest of whom is just an toddler).

Her sisters have contracted hepatitis from the polluted water and are severely ill. They missed being caught up in a massacre only a couple of days ago, and Shahed was too sick and weak afterwards to talk to me for long.

To get evacuate her family out of Gaza, she needs $50,000 USD for travel fees. Even though her gfm has been up since february, she has only manager to collect 11k.

This is what our children become when they are exposed to malnutrition due to food and water. Stand with my children and help them live in a clean place, a safe place away from pollution. Their health has passed. Pleas help me children

"No Injuries" is a perplexing phrase that emerged during the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza. In the early days of the war when I was in Gaza, multiple friends outside Gaza made Facebook posts about their families that ended with the phrase "No injuries".

Very confused, the first troubling thought that popped up in my head was "Is that good news or bad news?" On face value, it seems like good news, but being a person from Gaza, you know that there is no more devastating and soul-crushing news than "No injuries".

Have you ever experienced transitioning from having a sense of relief followed by extreme shock and heartache just in a few seconds? A few seconds took me to realize that the intended meaning was that every single freaking one was killed in cold blood at the press of a button in the airstrike! Men, women, children! Everyone!!

How does one live after receiving such news? What is the point of living once you lose every single one of your family--parents, brothers, sisters, wife, and children? What kind of dreams do you aspire for? What is the point of getting out of bed in the morning? What is the point of working? What is the point of existing?!

A person has to do whatever it takes to save his/her family. Please help me get my family to safety in Egypt until there is a ceasefire hopefully soon.
