I’ve decided that I want to write you a letter. Though, I don’t know what I would say in it. I don’t think I’d ever like to send it, either. You’ve been on my mind lately. I wonder where you are and what you might be up to. I hope one day I can ask that and you will say,“good things, wonderful things” - is it bad to say I don’t know if that will ever be? I want you to do the good you told me you would do for the world. You wanted to be an artist. You wanted to make art for me, it was the purest time. You had no selfish ambition; you just wanted to put good in the world. I wish that had lasted, but it is not my life to live. One day I hope you will do something good and that we can talk about it. I hope you’d like to talk to me in the future when things are better. Maybe you’ll come back one day. I think about that sometimes. I no longer hope for it, just think. Be safe, be good.
