With this being said -I really have more to say, but I cannot be bothered atm-, I love you, Mr Drew Starkey. And I’ll always respect and support him.

Pt.1

The spotlights, the flashes, the fame, that was what Olena Ihorivna Mazurenko always wanted. She, a girl from Donetsk, came to America with a dream: to make it into Hollywood. Yes, she was quite famous in her country, but she wanted more. She could have been one of the many, and the fact that she was not a native English speaker, and her accent, was surely not on her side, but the Ukrainian girl was determined to, so she made it.

So here she was, after guest staring into many tv shows, being the main actress in the newest Hollywood film: ‘Barbie’; a role she literally got instead of a more famous Margot Robbie. That was surely a great honour. And that film had been her breakout film, declaring her as America’s Slavic girlfriend and Hollywood’s next big thing.

And fuck, if she wasn’t proud of herself.

After all, she had everything she could have asked for. Taller than most men, a toned muscular body, a round face which gave her such an innocent look, big blue eyes, long blonde hair and it was kinda clear that she was often at her surgeon’s office. Olena knew she was beautiful and was very well aware of the aura she had around her.

Although, it was maybe her personality an issue, as her manager and pr often told her. Because Olena Mazurenko was too blunt, unapologetic and straightforward for the new politically correct in the business. Did Olena care? No, she couldn’t give a shit about it; she was a strong Slavic young woman, she was never planning on changing her true persona according to today’s standards.

Take it or leave it, love it or hate it, there was no in between.

And that night was no different, at an interview, on a national American channel, surely ready to break all over the internet, along side other celebrities.

Surprisingly the interview even had a good start, considering Olena’s tendencies to make people mad, the Slavic actress even managed to bring people by her side, to be more likeable — but it all went south when she replied to a comment made by another actress, a Latina one, who was talking about sexism.

Now, obviously, Olena, the blonde rich girl from Europe, always got painted as the villain, because apparently it was a trend, and she couldn’t help but point it out that too.

The other actress got very mad, yelling at the blonde girl while approaching her. In response, Olena got up, towering the other girl by at least fifteen centimetres, and stayed stoic, if not showing a provocative smirk, only replying that the difference between the girl and her was that one was good for a night, the other was wifey material.

God, like she would have said who knew what, everyone went against her as always, labelling her in so many ways. Also racist. But wasn’t the other actress racist too for commenting on Slavic women in a not nice way?

In response, the reply from the Ukrainian actress was a tweet, with written ‘What happened to white privilege??’. Of course another polemic.

Honestly and personally, Olena did not mind them at all; but her crew thought otherwise.

“You cannot go around and act like this, Olena.” Her manager, Christine, repeated her for what seemed to be the millionth time only that week. “Your reputation is as important as your acting in our world, if not even more. People do not want to work with a problematic diva!”

“I am not problematic!” Olena snapped back, her accent as thick as ever. “People just need learning to face truth and not live in delusion. I am too real for this.”

Christine couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the 25 years old actress. “Face it, Olena, you have some sort of anger issues to fix and a tongue to bite.” The woman took a deep breath, trying to not start a fight she knew she was not gonna win.

“I do not!” The actress started feeling like she was about to explode. Talking about anger issues. “I shouldn’t have change my manager. My mom was way more chill.” She commented, shaking her head.

Again, Christine rolled her eyes. “Too bad.” She cleared her throat. “Anyway, we got an email from that new Netflix Scream revamp show. Congratulations, Olena, you got the role.”

At that, Olena raised an eyebrow. “And yet you have audacity to say none would want to work with me.” She smirked, looking at her reflection in the nearest mirror in the room, as to say to herself ‘you did that’. She looked at Christine. “Did they tell you who else is gonna be in the cast?”

At that, her pr, Peter, nodded as he stepped into the room. “Miss girl Olena, this is such a dream hot cast. The whole show is gonna make you want to lick the screen.”

“Gross.” Christine couldn’t help but comment, causing Peter to laugh.

“Just tell me names!” The blonde actress groaned. “Is that too hard to do?”

“First of all, we have new internet’s boyfriend, white boy of the whole year, Outer Banks superstar: Drew Starkey.” Peter replied, his eyeshadow sparkling. “Then we have other hotties such as Nicholas Galitzine and Ella Purnell. I still have to check the whole cast, I just got super excited when I read Drew Starkey.”

Olena’s face remained unexpressive, also due the recent filler botox she injected recently. “Nice.”

“So you better behave, young lady!” Christine warned her. “I don’t want you to be kicked out of any set.”

“Please, everyone loves me.” Olena rolled her blue eyes. “And I’m very professional on set, so shut the fuck up, Christine. This shit is annoying me.”

“She has a point.” Peter nodded, shoving into his mouth some chips. He looked over Olena, a grin on his face.

“What?” Olena asked him, narrowing an eyebrow again as she placed a cigarette between her lips.

Peter smirked, this time wider. “Can you imagine if you manage to steal Drew Starkey’s heart? Please, tell me you know who he is.”

Now it was Olena rolling her eyes. “Of course I do.” She said. She never met him personally, but she was a big Outer Banks fan and she obviously couldn’t help but develop a crush on him; because, duh, girl had both good tastes and a good eye sight. And now, knowing she was going to work with him… she was truly excited, and happy. She had even a little smile on her round face.

At that, Christina smirked too, sitting next to Peter. “And what if she engages a somewhat fake dating with him?” She proposed, making both Olena and Peter widen their eyes. “Our girl clearly needs some good publicity, and with them working together, it seems logical to make people believe they’re somewhat into a relationship, at least for few months. It will be perfect and it will also help with the film’s publicity!”

“Damn, why didn’t I think about it?” Peter half yelled, running a hand through his bleached hair. “Christine, you fucking genius, this is perfect!”

“Don’t I get a say into this?” Olena said, crossing her arms to her chest.

“After last night, trust me, you don’t.” Christine said.

“Rude. I’m tempted to fire you.”

“Please, like you can complain about faking to be all lovey with Drew Starkey!” Peter pointed out. “Girls would kill for that.”

“He’s not gonna agree anyway.” Olena rolled her eyes. Of course, if he did agree, she wouldn’t complain, because, bitch, he was Drew fucking Starkey, no need to say more. “He doesn’t gain anything from this situation.”

“Ugh, your accent is so sexy.” Peter commented, out of nowhere, causing Christine to elbow him, as to shut him up.

Then she looked over Olena, a slight smirk on her face. “That’s the industry, dear, there’s always something to gain. And I know his manager, so I’m calling him right now.”

“Right now?” Olena widened her eyes in shock.

“Yeah, right now.” Christine nodded, getting up and grabbing her phone. “Be back soon, I hope.”

As Christine left, Olena ran a hand through her blonde hair. She was anxious, what if he said no or what if he said yes?
