This beautiful property is listed as being built in the late 18th century, often when buildings were listed, the conservation officers were not granted access to the whole property thus made a decision on what could be seen from the street. This nice old timber frame was actually built around 600 years ago and has a tremendous amount of original features still in situ. Cruck frames are curved trees, cut in two to provide the main structural frame of the building. An early form of building and I can’t recall seeing a more complete frame in sick good condition. The owners had been told they had rising damp by the mortgage survey 🤣 no damp found by us of course just a beautiful old timber frame building.
