How can you invite people to see and learn about Islam when all you do is shut them out??

They don't read the Qura'n. They read you! You represent Islam!

And when your reaction to every little thing is "Haram! Haram!!" and when you isolate yourself from your community, your friends and family, that is not Islam!

Our youth are distancing themselves from Islam because you made Islam seem harsh and backwards.

Let's change that!

If you dunno, Bilal (RA) was the first person who did the muslim call for prayer. And that very same call is given across the globe in almost every land. Every single day. ❤

Islam is a religion that completely abolished the idea that anyone can be better than the other because of their race, skin colour, etc..

We are taught in Islam:

"A white has no superiority over a black and a black has no superiority over a white except by piety and good action."

You were born into a Muslim family, because of that one person among your ancestors, who became Muslim. You are their legacy.

These people faced criticism, bullying, alienation and in some cases torture. But they faced it with courage, and an unyielding faith. And that's why you are here today.

They gave up the worship of any besides Allah. They loved their wine, but gave it up for Allah. They loved the fun and enjoyment of the nights, but gave up on any haram relationships for Allah.

They, who were loved by their family and peers, became targets in their society and even in their own homes.

But they never faltered. And Allah blessed their lineage with Muslims.

YOU are the proof of their sacrifice.

So what are YOU doing with this blessing?

Why is it that you can't pray one Salah, let alone five? Why is it that you can't give up pornography? Why is it that you spend your nights drinking and dancing at the clubs?

Then will you be surprised when your children grow up knowing nothing of Islam? They will say our fathers used to speak of a religion. And we are Muslim only by name.

So please. Don't be the reason for those who come after you to lose Islam.

Learn to sacrifice.
