This is the Horn Bike iPhone case from Bone, and you can probably guess from the name exactly what it does. Your iPhone 4 slides into the silicone sleeve and a Velcro strap secures it to the handlebars of your bike. So far, so ordinary. The neatness comes from the βhornβ part, which is in fact a horn speaker that channels the sound from the iPhoneβs speaker forwards and at the same time stretches it out, making it up to 13dB louder. Not only can you now use all manner of cycle-computer or GPS apps, you can also listen to music, or hear turn-by-turn directions. The Horn Bike will cost $30, which is pretty standard even for a non-bike-mounted, non-horn-sporting case, which leads me to conclude that it is a bargain. Now all I need is an iPhone. Unless anyone knows of an iPad bike mount, that is?

Extreme comfort and high-fidelity reproduction are the two major items most of us look for in headphones and is exactly what the Philips Fidelio L1 Headphones ($270) deliver. The starting point of the comfort is their weight. They are extremely lightweight for easy wearing. The band is encased in leather to make them even more comfortable. The NeoDymium drivers are vented to improve sound quality and to allow your ears to breathe. The earcups are made from memory foam to make sure your ears are cradled in comfort while listening. The Fidelio L1 headphones go over your ears to keep the sound quality high. The hardware is all formed from aluminum to reduce vibration and not create an annoying hum. The headphones are tuned for powerful bass and mid-range sound, but still score excellently in the higher sound ranges, too.

Don't have time to make yourself a proper cup of coffee before you head out for the day? Use the Handpresso Auto (β¬150; roughly $200) to brew up a jolting shot of espresso from the comfort of the driver's seat. Powered by your car's 12V cigarette lighter, the Handpresso takes water and E.S.E. coffee pods, and lets you know when your drink is ready with three audible beeps, so you don't need to take your eyes off the road.
