In french we have one that goes: "Napoleon pris du ventre et beaucoup de pays." it means that Napoleon grew fat and took a lot of countries and it's a play on the verb "took" which in french is used to talk about getting fat. I love zeugmas bc of that: they're special to each language and you can really understand them by knowing said language and it's grammatical formation!!!!! ✨✨✨✨
